    Peacefully and surrounded by family, Joy (Gemmell) McGaughey at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Bill McGaughey for over 64 years. Dear mother of the late Donald McGaughey (2009), Thomas McGaughey and his wife Elizabeth, and Cameron McGaughey all of London. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Ian, Katie and Andrew. Also survived by her sister-in- law Phyllis Gemmell, brother-in-law John Palkovic and daughter-in-law Joanne Marchand, all of London. Predeceased by her sister Anne Noel (1995) and her brother Donald Gemmell (2001). Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (12-1 pm) on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the A.     K. Grace (Pitts) Mitchell of London passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2016 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward I. Mitchell. Dear mother of Ian Mitchell (Anne) of Vancouver BC, David Mitchell (Vinnie) of Toronto, Douglas Mitchell (Maria) of London, and Andrew Mitchell (Janet) of Aurora. Dear sister of Ruth Drake-Alloway of London. Proud grandmother of Yani Mitchell (Drew), Fiona Vlasblom (James), Adam Mitchell, Danielle Mitchell (Brett), Kirsten Mitchell, Graham Mitchell and delighted great-grandmother of Liam and Norah. Predeceased by her siblings Lillian McTavish, Callin Pitts, Jack Pitts, Jean Lozier and Kathleen (Nadeau) Leitch. Special thanks go out to the wonderful people at Homecare on Wheels and SW CCAC- St Elizabeth who enabled Grace to spend her final years at home as she so much desired. Loving mother of Sheila Densham (Jonathan), Lewis Szanyi Jr., Joseph Szanyi (Cathy), Richard Szanyi (Sherry), Elizabeth Cooke (Lawrence). Proud Grandmother of Shannon (Gord), Derek, Will, Telsi, Nicole, Sydney and Shawn. Step-Grandmother of Daniel (Amanda) and Robin (Kevin).     With her husband by her side, at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, March 7, 2016, Helen (Gyorvary) Varga in her 77th year. Helen was born in Budapest, Hungary and arrived in Canada in 1972. Beloved wife of Lajos Varga for over 42 years. Dear sister-in-law of Kathy Nyakas (Joe Ringler), Erzsebet Szabo (Ferenc Szabo), Arpad Varga (Piroska), and Julianna Tokar. Missed by Eva Varga Tothne, her nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers at Anderson Radio.     The Carter family is sad to announce the passing of a cherished family member, Mary Margaret Williams Carter (born 1919) passed away February 16, 2016 at Lanark Place Long Term Care in Kitchener. She leaves behind her son Paul, daughter-in-law Lynda, grandchildren Sue, Andrew (Samantha) and Scott (Leah), great-grandchildren Griffin and Emmerson, dear niece Deborah Carter and her daughter Hannah, and many cousins who will miss her deeply. She has been reunited on the other side with those loved ones who went before her: husband Charles, sister and brother-in-law Barbara and John Drinkwater, father and mother Harold and Lillian Williams, and many cousins and friends who played such an important part in her life. Born in Guelph, Ontario, with time spent in Peterborough growing up, Mary made Hamilton, then Niagara Falls her home for many years before moving to London, Ontario in 1970. In her later years, she moved to Kitchener to be closer to her son and his family. She played golf, rounds of bridge and followed numerous sports on television when she could no longer be physically active. Mary’s life was one of love and generosity and her family and friends were the centre of her world. There was no one who didn’t love her. She was truly interested in everyone she met and made the most of what life handed her in spite of her physical limitations. She was a true example of grace, dignity and kindness and she will be missed very much. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Lanark Place who took such good care of Mary in her final years. Friends will be received by family at A.
