HENSELER, Henry…

Unexpectedly and peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, February 8, 2016. Henry Henseler in his 88th year; leaves behind his beloved wife Luise Henseler of 65 years; his 3 children Joseph (Vicky), Mike (Goonjira) and Susan Reaume. Henry is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with Henry’s wishes cremation with a private family memorial will take place. JOHNSON, Ivan Earl…

At University Hospital on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Reverend Ivan Earl Johnson of London in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Janet (Anderson) Johnson (2012). Dear father of Allan Johnson and his late wife Joy (2015) of Regina, SK; Howard Johnson and his wife Margaret of Surrey, BC; David Johnson and his wife Barbara of Ilderton; Cathy Lewis and her husband Ron of London; Linda Marr and her husband Colin of Stouffville and Paul Johnson and his wife Kim of Nanaimo, BC. Dear brother of the late Gordon Johnson and his wife Florence of St. Marys and Mary Field and her husband Steve of London. Also loved by his 14 grandchildren and his 8 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his dear friend Trudy McCrae. AZIZ, Taft…… Peacefully at Westmount Gardens Long Term Care on January 30th, 2016, Taft Aziz a retired business man in his 100th year lost his long and courageous battle with dementia. He leaves his beloved sister Mrs. Julie (late Elias) Bourisk of Maine and London, who cared for him for 17 years. Other survivors include his sister-in-law Josephine Aziz and her children Charles, Susan, Sandra, Peter, his wife Kate and their daughter Ellery of Toronto, as well as several nieces and nephews from Worcester, MA and Syracuse, NY. Predeceased by his brothers Albert and Philip, an international London artist, as well as his sisters Rose Aziz and Mary Ayoup of Montreal. He was a patriarchal figure, an uncle and father figure to his nieces and nephews in London. He lived a full and long life in the only city he knew as home. As a young man of 20 he took over his father’s wholesale fruit business during the early 30s and 40s. When his father died at the age of 61, he gave up the fruit business and entered the Empire House, and retired at 55 and then went into real estate. He was well known to many in London, having contributed greatly to charitable organizations and business development. In keeping with Taft’s wishes, our thanks to all the wonderful nurses, staff and doctors for the extraordinary, high quality of care they provided over the past 11 months with the dignity, the care, the comfort and compassion during his stay at Westmount Gardens and Victoria hospital. Taft was a long time member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Friends will be received by the family at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10 – 11 am, prayers at 11:15 am. ANDERSON, Andy….

Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, January 25, 2016, Andy Anderson in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Pullin) Anderson (2004). Proud father of Sandra Rank and her husband Don of London. Cherished Papa of Kerry and Erin Rank. Brother of Jessie Clayton. Missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Jim and Bob. Andy was a proud member for 60 years with St. John’s Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M. Two times Past Master of St. John’s Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M., Past District Deputy Grand Master – London East District, a 33rd Degree Honourary Inspector General of the Supreme Council, and a member of Mocha Shriners. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the mid Atlantic during WWII. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 1:00 pm. At home on Sunday, January 24, 2016, Linda Anne (McMillan) Gow of London, after an extended battle with cancer and ALS. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Gow. Loving mother of Dallas (Kylene Walker) and Jayden and predeceased by son William (1977). Loving grandmother of Adelaide, Charlotte and Langdon. Dear sister of Mike (Marilyn), Bob, the late Tom (Melody) and Tim (Karen). Daughter-in-law of Aurora Durnan and sister-in-law of Trent (Jackie) Gow, Susan Gow and Margaret (Larry) Morrison. Dear niece of Lillian Dodd and Anne Dodd. Sadly missed by many cousins, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and Barb McMillan. Predeceased by her loving parents Albert “Mike” and Elsie (Dodd) McMillan. Anne was a long time employee of the London Public Library, working most of her career in the London Room at the Central Branch. Cremation. Surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 23, 2016, William “Bill” Driver, sadly passed away in his 60th year. Beloved husband (39 years) and best friend (43 years) of Kathy Driver. Loving father of his three “loonheads” Jen Bauer (Franz), Andrew Driver and Kaitlyn Driver (Billy). Cherished Bumpa of Weston. CHAMP, Anna Marie….

A devout Christian and a life-long member of The Salvation Army in her 93rd year went home to be with her Lord late in the evening of January 22, 2016. Beloved wife for 55 years of the late William (Bill) Champ (2002). Sister of John Morgan (Ruth), Bill Morgan (Jean) and the late Betty Doan and Edward Morgan. Cherished mother of David (Joanne), Jim (Barbara), Kathy (Bill) and Ken (Sandra). Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Marie will be sadly missed. Friends will be received by family members on Tuesday, January 26 from 7 – 9 p.m. at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South London, Ontario. Passed away peacefully, on Friday, January 22, 2016 at University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor S. “Ellie” (Person) Vaughan. Predeceased by his parents Eleanora and Harry Vaughan and his brother Gerald Vaughan. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Nancy Vaughan, Kathy Sheeller and her husband David, Michael Vaughan and his wife Chris, Gordon Vaughan and his wife Judy and Stephen Person and his wife Gloria. Great-uncle of Christopher, Cassandra, April, Jessica, Kaytlyn and Brandon Sheeller, Owen, Jamie, Mary-Beth, Kim, Kyle and Scott Vaughan, Lucas, Danielle, and Chloe Vaughan.
He retired as a teacher/program administrator for the Thames Valley School Board. Friends will be received by the family at A.
