    Peacefully at Middlesex Terrace on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, Murray Cushman in his 92 year. Beloved husband of the late Kitty Cushman (2015) and Willa Cushman (1980). Loving father of Barbara (Dennis) Bradley and stepfather to Van MacDougall (Pia Forsstrom). Cherished grandfather to Laura and Elizabeth Bradley and step grandfather to Sarah MacDougall and Anna (Jon-Rickard) S. MacDougall. Proud step Great-grandfather to August Sorensen and  Maja S. MacDougall. Sadly missed by sister Donna Neal, niece Paula Coverly and many other nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.   • Kook Un Kim

    KIM, Kook Un…. Kook Un Kim died suddenly on April 18, 2016 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. He was 74 years old. Mr. Kim was born in 1942 near Gwangju, Jeolla-namdo, South Korea. Predeceased by his parents, Jong Soo Kim and Soon Keum Choi, he was a dedicated son and brother to ten siblings. He worked in West Germany for over 5 years before immigrating to Canada in 1969. After 37 years at the Ford Motor Company, he retired in 2007. He is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Bok Soo Kim, and their three children, Helen, Julia, and Gary. He will always be remembered by his family as a devoted husband and loving father. In keeping with his family’s wishes, a private burial was held yesterday.     VAN LEEUWEN, Marc….

    On Saturday, April 16, 2016, Marc Van Leeuwen unexpectedly passed at the age of 44. Loving husband and best friend to Karen Bowman. Cherished father to son Spencer and daughter Jessica Van Leeuwen and Ricky Wilson. Good friend to Vivianne Van Leeuwen and dear son of Rita Van Leeuwen. Marc will be remembered by his friends and family for his love of fishing and the outdoors as well as his kind and giving nature.  Cremation has taken place.     WOOD, Margaret (Peggy)…

    Mum passed away at home with family by her side on April 9, 2016 in her 92nd year. She was married to Len the love of her life for 70 years (predeceased August 15, 2015).  She will be sadly missed by her children Margaret Martin (Bob), Leonard Wood (Evelyn) and Pamela Wood. Predeceased by granddaughter Denise Bullivant (1985) and her brother Edward Smith, England and survived by her sister Minna (Tony) of Surrey, B.C.  Loving Nana of Julie Kirkby (Mark and family), Leanne Miller (Jason), Shane Wood and Tamara Wood.  Great Nana of Richard Bullivant (Ashley and family), Ryan Miller, Cailey Miller, Emily Kirkby, Keirsyn Wood and Taiden Wood.  Great, Great Nana to Cooper Bullivant. Nana to extended families of Gary Martin (Carolyn), Richard Martin (Katherynne) and Angela Skinner (Kent). Aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada and abroad. Mum got her first job in Canada at BMO Dundas and Third, where she worked for many years. Before retiring she also worked in the office of Canadian Tire and TD Bank in Dorchester. She was a kind, loving woman and a caring daughter who brought her mother from England for her last years.  Mum volunteered at the Dearness Home for 24 years and was part of the tap dancing group The Happy Hoofers who went to Seniors Residences to perform. She also loved ballroom dancing. Mum had a good, long, happy life and it was only the years after her stroke in 2012 that were challenging for her. We will miss her dearly. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Doreen (Len) Tessier and step-sister to Janet Berkley and step brothers Frank (Janet) Springer & Eldon Springer. Dear mother-in-law of Randy Hornblower and sister-in-law of John Cunningham (Dianne Ridgeway).Predeceased by her daughter Roxanne Hornblower (2004) and her sisters Connie Cunningham (2000). Survived by Socks, the cat and Charlie, the dog.   • Dr. Robert Moore Grainger

    GRAINGER, Dr. Robert Moore, DDS, MScD, DDPH, RCDC ….. Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, Dr. Robert Grainger in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Norma (Thomas) Grainger for 47 years. Loving father of Patricia Grainger of Ottawa and Jennifer Grainger of London. Grandfather of Jonathon (Kyla), Jeremy and Michael and great-grandfather of Kira, Nathan, Elliot and Piper. Predeceased by his son Donald Grainger and his sisters Ruth Grainger and Helen Wilson. Dr Grainger graduated in Dentistry, University of Toronto, in 1943, practiced for a few years, and then returned to University for further degrees in statistics and epidemiology. His career then took him into the field of dental research at various Universities, and at the Institute of Dental Research, NIH, in Washington, D.C. He also worked as a consultant to several industries and organizations, notably the World Health Organization of the U.N. for a number of years. The family thanks Dr. Cejic and staff (Byron Family Medical Centre), the CCAC, and the staff of St. Elizabeth and the VON for their wonderful care of Dr. Grainger over the past few months. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (9:30-10:30am) to the funeral service being conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:30am, at the A.
