Archdeacon Doidge was a constant and guiding light through my teen years at St. Matthias Church in Westmount (Montreal), Qc. I will be forever thankful for his ministry and guidance. Judy and I extend our heartfelt sympathies to his many friends and family. I believe that people of gentleness and faith can change the world. Thank you Archdeacon Doidge for being one of those extraordinary people .

I have such fond memories of your father while growing up in Schade View. His booming voice at times scared me to death but I would see his smile and know that I was never really in trouble with him. He was always larger than life to me. When I returned for visits to the cottage I would always make a point to stop by and see your parents and was always welcomed as a family member. It is always tough to lose a parent and I am sure you will miss him greatly. A very special man has left our life but it was a honor to have known him. My deepest sympathy’s to you all
Dear Doidge Family; All the staff at Parkwood Institute are deeply saddened by the very recent passing of a true humanitarian and citizen of lobdon,Ontario, plus an icon representing the Anglican Church of Canada with true humility and understanding of the true perils of our daily lives in which we live and obide by its rules as beast we can in our modern and changing world these days.It was our pleasure to look after this gentleman as a thankyou for all that you accomplished for citizens and friends far and wide around the world whever your travels took you with your family and friends.God bless you all and we wish for you to look forward ahead to better days ahead for you all in your perspective careers and lives from this day forward.;YoursSincerely; Brian Cross,Main Desk Volunteer Parkwood Institute,London,Ontario
Jack was always a part of my family’s life ever since my grandmother and his mother were best of friends. Jack’s life in the church was a great inspiration to me. I just spent time with Bernice Cleator before she died and she was reminiscing about their experiences with the Doidge family in Montreal. It is always sad when we share these losses no matter how old. Mary Lee and I wish God’s richest blessings and comfort to the family.
