Evelyn (Smith) McLennan of London in her 92nd year, passed away at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, Ontario on Thursday June 7, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Mark McLennan. Dear mother of Ron McLennan and his wife June of Lucan and Mary Ann Clark and her husband Dennis of Strathroy. Dear sister of the late William Smith and his wife Audrey of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Shana Skelton and her husband Bryn of Woodslee and Christopher McLennan and his wife Denise of Ilderton and great grandmother of Mikhaila and Tristan Skelton. The family will receive friends from 2-4 on Sunday June 10th at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday June 11, 2007 at 11am. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Surrounded by family and friends at London Health Sciences Centre- Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Frederick A. Nicholls of Thorndale in his 92nd year. Beloved father of Gregory Michael Nicholls and his wife Bonita of Peachland, British Columbia, Catherine Jenkins and her late husband Lewis of Warren,Ohio and Mark Nicholls of Thorndale. Sadly missed by his dog Peppy. Dear brother of Alice Manning of St. Thomas and Richard Nicholls of London. Predeceased by his brother Harold Nicholls. Veteran of World War II, graduate of Sandhurst Military College, England. Lieutenant Nicholls after the war owned and operated an automotive garage as a mechanic for many years in London, Ontario. It is with great sadness we announce Jimmy’s peaceful passing from our lives, into the arms of his Saviour, on Sunday, May 27, 2007; three days after his 90th birthday. Jimmy was a gentle, devoted family man. He leaves Margery his beloved wife and best friend, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage. Loved dearly by his daughter Virginia Lunnie and her husband Jim, his grandchildren Sean (Patti), Doug (Jen), Brent (Andrea), Kevin (Jenn) and his darling great granddaughters Emma, Claire, Olivia and Katie. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest City Bible Church, 1889 Wonderland Road North, London (north of Fanshawe Park Road) with Pastor John Thompson officiating.
