Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at Victoria Hospital , London on January 28, 2009. Heather Mary (Taman) Taylor of Dorchester in her 48th year. Beloved wife of Kevin Taylor. Loving mother of James Taylor and John Taylor. Sadly missed by her mother Elinore Taman, her brother Jim Taman, her sister Sally Lowey and her husband Tim, mom and dad Taylor, her sister-in-law Anita McKenzie and her husband Tim and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father James Taman. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the complete funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:00 am. At University Hospital, London surrounded by his family, on Saturday, January 24, 2009, Alan Phoenix Craig of London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Alice (Whitney) Craig for 61 years. Loving father of John Craig and his wife Patti of Sault Ste. Marie and Brenda Ritchie and her husband Gord of London. Proud grandfather of Lorie (Marc), Karen (Dana), Amanda, Krista, Gordon, Sam, Danielle and Gail and great-grandfather of Sienna, Craig, Cole, Seth, Stevin, Victoria and Caelynn. Dear brother of Don (Jean). Also missed by Bill Craig, Barry Blunt and their families and all the extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sons Wayne and Ronald. Al was an honoured WWII veteran, serving with the RCR from July 1943 until October 1945, when he was injured in Holland. He received the Order of St. John and the St. John Long Service Award and numerous medals for his military service. He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, St. John Ambulance and Commissionaires. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gary Broughton White, surrounded by his family, at Victoria Hospital on Friday January 23, 2009. His courage will remain an inspiration. The twinkle in Gary’s eyes and lively spirit, will be missed by all who knew him but especially his beloved wife Nancy, devoted children, Daina, Drew (Kerilee) and Katie (Chad Otterbein). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Hailey, Brody and Dylan. Dear brother of Stewart (Susan McGugan). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. Predeceased by his parents Eileen and William B. White. Phillis Mary “Pat” Clark

At McCormick Home, on January 23, 2009, Phillis Mary “Pat” Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Clark (1985). Dear mother of Ron Clark and his wife Rosemary of New Brunswick and Jim Clark and his wife Ingrid of London. Loving grandmother of Jeremy (Rebecca), Jordan (Sarah) and Kevin Clark and by her great-grandchildren Megan, Aiden and Henry. Also missed by her nephews Trevor and John Butterworth and her niece Margaret Watt and their families in England. Predeceased by her sister Betty and her brothers Alfred and Teddy. Pat was born and raised in England where she took her nurse’s training. She came to Canada as a WW II war bride, making her home with husband Ronald and sons Ron and Jim in London. When the boys started school, she returned to her nursing career taking many courses to upgrade her skills. She was also very artistic with a talent for sketching and painting as well as needlework. She loved to work in her garden and was a member of the London Garden Club for many years. Pat was an avid reader and loved poetry which she could still recite up to her passing. Our thanks to the wonderful staff at McCormick Home, London for their excellent, loving care of Pat these last few years. A private family inurnment in Woodland Cemetery, London, will take place at a later date.
