Peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2009. Doris Winnifred Hollingsworth of London in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur D. Hollingsworth. Dear mother of Teresa Hollingsworth and her husband Ted Briggs and Louise Hollingsworth all of London. Dear sister of Elsie Docherty, Laura Chaney both of London, Pauline Cant and Josie Hollingsworth both in England. Predeceased by her brothers Alec and Edward Chaney. Also loved by her grandchildren, Patrick, Sam, Erin and Elsie. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (9:00 to 10:00 am) to the Mass being celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 511 Cheapside Street, London on Thursday, January 29th at 10:00 am Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 150 – 633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3 or the charity of your choice.
