Peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family on December 1, 2023. She is now reunited with her husband Jack (2020). She was an amazing mom to her daughters Karen (Mike), Darlene (Darcy) and Cathy (Lee). Wonderful Grandma to Sean (Louise), Jessica (Andrea), Jake (Ashley), Peyton (Chase), Alyssa (Trevor), Hailey (Tom). Adoring GG to Rya, Katie, Logan and Lanie. Proud big sister to Rose and Mary (2008). Loving Aunt to Susan, Doug, Janice, Sheila, Dave, Richard and Darrell. Velma loved life! She was up for any adventure. She loved her family and friends, always going out of her way to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Her cookie tin was always filled with her delicious homemade cookies and she loved to enjoy a glass of wine with family and friends. Velma was an active member of St Mark’s Anglican Church, Lifetime member of the Home & School Association and enjoyed weekly outings to the Dorchester VON day program. We know her husband, Jack is happy to have her back in his arms again. Visitation will be held at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Sunday, December 10, 2-4 pm and 6-8pm. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Greg “Squeak” Stewart passed away suddenly in London, Ontario, the evening of November 27th, 2023 in his 75th year. Greg will be missed by his wife Barbara of 47 years. Cherished father to Chelsea Jackson (Colin Jackson) and Chad Stewart (Catherine Stewart). Loving grandfather to Leo Stewart. Also missed by his sisters and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Greg was a man of genuine kindness, unwavering integrity, and a deep passion for nature and wildlife. He spent a lifetime cultivating a profound connection with the natural world. His love for the great outdoors was infectious, and he shared that passion with everyone he encountered.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 80 in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Donald Perry (2002). Loving mother to Erica (Jeffrey) Daubs. Dear sister to Janet McGrath and Betty Nelson – Daniel. June will be missed by her friends, nieces, and nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and creativity that will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. June was a talented individual who excelled with painting. She had her award-winning art displayed close to home at the Ilderton Fair and at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. She enjoyed gardening and cooking a delicious meal for her loved ones. A visitation will be held at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Jean Piddington
Jean Piddington passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in her 92nd year. Born to William George and Kate Elizabeth Collins in Forest Gate (Plaistow) in the county of West Ham England in January of 1932. Beloved wife of her late husband Peter (2021) to whom she was married for 66 years. Loving mother to Diane (Peter), Jane, Andrew and Jonathan (Angela) and grandmother to Tiffany, Timothy, Heidi, Tammy, Sebastian, James, Josh, Ashley, Owen and Benjamin and 9 great grandchildren. Aunt to Sheila and Alan Norton (Chelmsford, England) and David and Sue Viney (Victoria, Australia).
Earning a National Design Degree from Southeast Essex Technology College (Dagenham) in 1954, Jean happily tackled endless drawing, painting, weaving and sewing projects. She was an avid reader, writer, gardener, baker and loved to can many pickle and jelly preserves. With a strong Christian faith, she was inspired daily by the natural beauty of God’s creation.

1951-2023It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Norman Richard “Rick” Culbert on Monday, November 20, 2023 in his 73rd year.
Norm will be sadly missed by his wife Lyne of 47 years, his sons Norman Jr. (Cathy) of Watford, and Andrew of London, grandsons, and extended family. Dear brother of Janet, Barb, Ron (Debbie) and Donald (Brenda). Brother-in-law of Dave (Michelle), Bob (Kelly) and Jim (Anne). Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Marion Culbert.
The family would like to express their sincere thank you to Dr. Hertzman; Smitha, Abby and Shincy from St. Elizabeth; and Brenda, Raji and Joseph from Paramed for their wonderful care and compassion over the years for Norm. Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, June Beaman (Johnston) (nee Bradford) passed away in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Reginald Beaman (1999) and George Johnston (1975). She is survived by her sister Joyce Elkins, her brother George Bradford (Sue), her step-daughter Carolyn McLellan (Kenneth) and her family, and George Johnston’s family. June will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Starting in her late teens, June became a Guide Leader and Commissioner and continued her dedication for many years. She also had a fulfilling lifelong career as an elementary school teacher with TVDSB. In the summer, she and Reg enjoyed hosting family over the weekend to spend time outside by the pool. June was a kind and generous woman and will be dearly missed by many. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12-1 pm at the A. Mary Evelyn Haggitt passed away peacefully at Extendicare in London, Ontario, the morning of November 12th, 2023 in her 94th year. Evelyn will be missed by her son David Haggitt. Loving grandmother to Lynnai (nee. Wetering) Haggitt, Amanda and Courtney Haggitt. Dear Sister in law to Dorothy Walker.
She is predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Gary and her grandson Troy Haggitt. Also predeceased by her siblings John (Alice) Walker, Ann (Jim) Squire, Tim (Alice) Walker, Joe (Lila) Walker and Bill Walker and her parents Thomas and Mary Walker.
