Passed away peacefully at Elmwood Place Long Term Care, London on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, Emilie Robbins in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Robbins. Loving mother of Blair Paliwoda of Brampton, Dean Paliwoda of Calgary, Fred Robbins of London, Emilie Robbins and her husband Phil Shcherbak of Uxbridge, Gordon Robbins of Melbourne, Sheryl Davidson and her husband Wayne of Kerwood, and Lois Hockin of London. Dear sister of Tom Elliott and his wife Pat of Calgary, and Pat Brown and her husband Bill of London. Much loved grandmother of ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Roy Paliwoda. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Unexpectedly at University Hospital, on Monday, February 3, 2014, R. Benson Sutter of London in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Mary Mildred Wionna (Harwood) Sutter. Dear brother of Shirley Pollock of Cambridge, Eileen Robbins of Gravenhurst, and brother-in-law of Marion Harwood of London and George M. Harwood of Clinton. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The memorial service will be held at Metropolitan Community Church, 138 Wellington Street, London, on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11 am. An Independent Order of Odd Fellows Service under the auspices of Harmony Encampment No. 3 and Rebekah Lodge No. 1, will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30 am, just prior to the memorial service. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 30th, 2014, Jack Gray, of London, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Clark) Gray. Dear father of Bonnie Gray of Stratford, PEI, Nancy Woodworth of London, Brian Gray of Port Stanley, Tim (Evie) Gray of Ottawa, David (Susan) Gray of London. Dear brother of Larry Gray. Dear Brother-in-law of Faye Gray and Linda Gray, both of London. Predeceased by his two brothers Alexander and Ron Gray. Also loved by his grandchildren Christopher (Kelly) Caughlin, Brandan (Misty) Woodworth, Erin Woodworth, Carter Gray, Sam Gray, Mackenzie Gray and Sara Gray. Jack was a veteran of World War II and served with the 2nd Battalion R.C.E. in the liberation of France, Belgium and Holland. He was a founding partner of the land surveying company, Archibald, Gray and MacKay (AGM) of London. During retirement he enjoyed golfing, bridge, and woodturning. Jack was an active member of his church. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 8pm on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the A. Passed away peacefully in her 96th year at University Hospital, London on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Wesley “Wes” Botham (2007). Born in Mersia Township. Daughter of John and Edith (Liddle) Seili. Mrs. Botham was a 1940 graduate of the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing. Will be sadly missed by her brother Arnold Seili of Wheatley and her brother-in-law Innes Dibbley of Wheatley. Will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and her dear friend Judi. Predeceased by her brother Lawrence Seili (2002) and his wife Peggy Seili, her sisters Mrs. Irene Lipsit and Mrs. Marion Dibbley (2010) and her sister-in-law Mrs. Doreen Seili (2005). It is with great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing at home of Terry Baker in his 70th year on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Baker (2003) and cherished partner of Anne Matthews. Much loved father of Stacey Baker (Ryan Pocrnich). Dear brother of Michael (Mica) Baker and Carla (Ian) McDonald. Also survived by his sister-in-law Donna (the late Gus) Kerhoulas. Predeceased by his parents Charles Baker and Kay Casagrande and his sister Victoria Baker. Amazing uncle to Dean, Jennifer, Michael, Nicholas, Jessica, Kathleen and Emily. Sadly missed by many family and friends. Terry “The Bear” will always be remembered for his sense of humour, love of sports and music. He was the #1 fan of the Detroit Tigers. If you didn’t see him at the Ceeps you would find him at a baseball park, on somebody’s boat, deck or watching some sport in his living room on the T.V. He had many friends and loved to have a beer and shoot the breeze. He was a dedicated employee of former London landmark Bob’s T.V. for many years. In his earlier years he was one of the first DJ’s in London. He was a cool cat, a true rock star and amazing guy. He was a wizard at crosswords, a master of trivia and scrabble, and a lover of jigsaw puzzles. He was a good friend to many, a loving and devoted father to Stacey. Although Nancy is no longer here she always remained in Terry’s heart. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by family from 5-8 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the A. Loving father of Bert Zwiers & his wife Jane of Kalamazoo, Everett Zwiers & his wife Pauline, Rita Heersink, John Zwiers, and Janet Stewardson & her husband Steve all of London. Also loved by his 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Special friend of Alice Koehnemann. At Parkwood Hospital, London on Monday, January 20, 2014, George Tolboom in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Rachel Ann (nee Mahon) (1993). Loving father of William Sommerville and his wife Sharon. Dear brother of Wulfert of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Edward of Kelowna, British Columbia. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leo (1962) and Johanna (1981) and his sister Phyllis (1950). George served as flight engineer with RCAF WWII. He was an honorary and past president of London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors and he was a member of the Highland Country Club. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or service. A private family interment at Clipperton Cemetery will be held at a later date.
