Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, February 23, 2014, Rickey George in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas George. Loving mother of the late Tommy (Monica), Diane (Andrew) Bolter and the late Peter. Cherished Mimi of Jesse (Tonya) Whiteside, Darcy, and Gabriel. Proud great-Mimi of Emmett Whiteside. Dear sister of Freda Pitz (Alex deceased), and Betty Miszczyk (John deceased). Predeceased by her sisters Colette “Coke” (Robert) Ryan, Suzanne and her brothers, Darcy (Jeanne), Daniel (Joanne), Raymond (Claire deceased), and Donald (Marlene) and her parents Alfred and Clara Marcoux, The family would like to thank Diane and Morris Peckham and the nurses in C6-300 for their love and care. The birds will chirp less brightly today as we announce with broken hearts the passing of a wonderful husband, a much loved father and a cherished grandpa. James Andrew Morrow lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Victoria Hospital in his 75th year. He fought unrelentingly with courage, grace and humour. Beloved husband of Patricia L. (Pat) (Mitchell) Morrow. Dear father of Carlye Morrow-Jackson and her husband Chris Jackson. Also loved by his grand-daughter Charlotte Jackson. Dearly missed by his brother-in-law Rob Mitchell and his partner Jan and sister-in-law Joanne Quinn and her partner Don and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Florence Morrow, his brother Robert (Bob) Morrow and his sister Margaret France. Jim enjoyed golfing at the Fox with the boys, fishing every year at Lake Nipissing. With various teams Jim played baseball and hockey, including the London Old Timers and London Free Press. Before his retirement Jim was a 42 year employee at the London Free Press. Cremation. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, February 21st from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00 pm with Reverend Thomas D. Hiscock officiating. Loving father of Bob Francis Jr. and his wife Linda of London, Barry Francis and his wife Audrey of London, Bonny Francis and her partner Roc Lambiris of Thamesville and Bruce Francis and his wife Irene of Belleville. Dearly loved Poppa and Grandpa of his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Noyes, Katherine Carter and Edith Stratton. Bob was a Past Master of St. Paul’s No. 107 A.F. and A. M. and 32 degree member of the Mocha Temple. Dear mother of Paul Harris and his wife Bunny of London. Cherished grandmother of Greg Harris and his wife Anissa of Toronto, James Harris and his wife Melanie of Neuchatel, Switzerland and Lori McEachnie and her husband Brad of London. Great-grandmother to Ryder, Payton, Lucas, Zoe, Brooklyn and Blake. Dear sister of Marie McKenzie of Goderich and the late Donald Ferguson (1980). The family would like to thank all the staff at Grand Wood Park, for their compassion, wonderful care and for making Wanda’s last remaining days as comfortable as possible.
