Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, Doreen (Pomeroy) Munn of London, in her 80th year, passed away after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Munn (1999), and dear mother to the late Bob Munn (2007), and Darlene Silverman (Rick). Loving gramma to Melanie Oulds (Adam), Stephanie Munn, Natasha Stewart (Shawn), Jennifer Arlt (Grant), Amy Williams (Chris Gallagher), Jason Munn, Charles Silverman (Erica), Jen Silverman, Awesomest great-gramma to Tristan, Ethan, Sierra, Darien, Jaden, Gavan, Kasee, Jaxon, Nakya,Tayven, Evelyn and Natalya. Lovingly remembered by her brother John Holcak, her daughter-in-law Elsa Munn, and her sister-in-law Carol Pomeroy. Predeceased by her siblings Gordon Pomeroy, Bill Holcak, and Enid Devine. It is with profound sadness and joy that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, Carole (Farley) Caine, in her home, on Monday, July 28, 2014 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late George Caine (1985). Cherished mother of Carolyn Boyle (Ron), Cheryl Steeper (Harvey), Pamela Nixon (Gary), Susan Rucchin (Aldo), Laurie King (the late Mark), and Christine Shore (Murton). Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dennis Farley (Julie) and the late David Farley. Dearly missed by her nieces and nephews. As a War Bride our mother with one child in hand (Carolyn), crossed the Atlantic in March 1946 to pier 21, a train to London, Ontario; greeted by her husband George and a remarkable life in Canada raising 6 girls. She will be sorely missed by her friends in the building she resided in for the past 15 years. Her devout faith sustained her throughout her life, and she is now resting in peace. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert E. “Robbie” Robinson at Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Monday, July 21, 2014 in his 92nd year, formerly of London. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Cobb) Robinson (2010). Loving father of Linda Hamilton and her husband Murray of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Predeceased by his son Bruce Robinson (2011). Dear father-in-law of Nancy Robinson of Bracebridge. Cherished grandpa of Major Justin Hamilton U.S.A.F. (Erika), Phil Robinson (Anna), and Kevin Robinson (Jaime) and great-grandfather of Patten, Isabella, and Charlotte. Predeceased by his parents and his siblings. He served in the R.C.A.F overseas in 419 Sqdn. M.S.9. Yorkshire. He was an avid lawn bowler and was a postman in London for 38 years. He was a life member of King Solomon’s Masonic Lodge No. 378 A.F. & A.M., a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and a long time member of Lambeth Legion No. 501 and was a District Scoutmaster for London West District.
