MUNN, Doreen….
Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, Doreen (Pomeroy) Munn of London, in her 80th year, passed away after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Munn (1999), and dear mother to the late Bob Munn (2007), and Darlene Silverman (Rick). Loving gramma to Melanie Oulds (Adam), Stephanie Munn, Natasha Stewart (Shawn), Jennifer Arlt (Grant), Amy Williams (Chris Gallagher), Jason Munn, Charles Silverman (Erica), Jen Silverman, Awesomest great-gramma to Tristan, Ethan, Sierra, Darien, Jaden, Gavan, Kasee, Jaxon, Nakya,Tayven, Evelyn and Natalya. Lovingly remembered by her brother John Holcak, her daughter-in-law Elsa Munn, and her sister-in-law Carol Pomeroy. Predeceased by her siblings Gordon Pomeroy, Bill Holcak, and Enid Devine. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Friday, August 1, 2014, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Dear Darlene and Family, I was truly saddened to hear the loss of your mother, Doreen. I will always remember her kindness and thoughtfulness dating back to when I was only sixteen years old and I got sickly, drunk she took it upon herself to babysit me. I often think of that crazy night and laugh as I was often reminded that the hardwood floor had to be re varnished. As we all know Life is so precious and often shortened when we least expect it. I know how deeply you feel this loss and my thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
