LaVacca, Flaminio (Tony)……..

Peacefully and surrounded by his family and friends on July 22, 2014 at Victoria Hospital, London in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Cristina (Nella) LaVacca. Dear father of Anthony LaVacca and Robert and Lisa LaVacca. Kind grandfather of Emily. Dear brother of Nicky and Ralph Battaglini of London, Fulvio LaVacca of Tillsonburg and Linda and Donato Ciccarella of Italy. Also loved by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his brother Orlando LaVacca and his three sisters, Rosa Batticuore, Cristina Ripak and Imperia Vendramin. Friends will be received by the family on Friday July 25, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. from the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Joseph Dabrowski, officiating. Interment in St. Peters Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3.     To Nella and family.
    Myself, Patti, Siobhan and Laura wish to express our deepest sympathies to you in Tony’s passing.
    Tony was a great neighbour and a true friend and I am going to miss him and his antics and his tomato deliveries.
    Thank you for being a part of our lives. Nella you do not have to worry, we will be there if you need us.
    Take care my friend, God bless you and rest in peace. See if they have cold beer up there to will you.
