Peacefully at Elmwood Place, London, on Thursday, April 9 2015, surrounded by her loving family, Gwenda (Fuller) in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Percy Laker (1982). Cherished mother of Keith (Karen) Laker, Jill (Darrell) Donkervoort and Kevin (Heather-Illman) Laker. Proud grandmother of Shawn (Victoria) Laker, Michael (Laurie) Laker, Justin Laker, Meaghan Donkervoort (Vince), Rebecca Donkervoort (Ryan), Larissa Bulani, Justin (Liane) Bulani and great-grandmother to baby Riley, Abigale, Vincent and Sienna. Predeceased by her sister Marjorie Marston, brother-in-law Bill Marston and grandson Conan Bulani. Also survived by her close friend Hazel Sinclair. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her relatives and friends. Thank you to the compassionate staff and residents at Elmwood Place Long Term Care. Cremation has taken place. Passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in his 58th year. Loving son to Jean Palmer and the late Dr. Bruce Palmer. Devoted father to Steve Palmer, Allison Palmer (Blake Metsch), Shannon Palmer (Fernando Almeida) and Melissa Palmer. Cherished grandfather to Breanna. Sadly missed by his siblings, Ellenore (Andrius) of California, Bill, Bob and Nancy all of London. Uncle to Julian, Michael and Elissa Baskys. The family has taken great comfort in knowing that, in honor of his wishes, his organs have been donated. Friends will be received by the family at A. Peacefully with her children at her side, on Sunday March 29, 2015 at University Hospital, London in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Verdon. Loving mother to Vern (the late Wilma), Gary (Jeanne Power), Marion (Jorden) Ireland, and William (Renee). Cherished Gramma to 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by brother David , her sister Marion and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved son Billy, and by brothers Cliff and Don. Fran was a long standing member of the Eastern Star London Bethlehem Chapter. A special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff of University Hospital. Visitation will be held at A. Proud grandmother of Jessica, Megan, Lisa, Josh, Jordan, Jason, Jacob and Jennifer and great-grandmother to Alex. Aileen Jones (née Andreoff/Steffoff) passed away quietly on March 23 2015 in Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario at 93 years old. She was devoted to her family and her friends. She was a talented dressmaker and teacher of sewing, a skier, a volunteer, and a world traveller. Loving mother of Manina and her husband Neal, and her son Fred and his wife Natalie. She will be missed by many, but particularly by her grandchildren Fionn, Maeve, Reilly and Rachel and by her nieces and nephews Diane, Kristine, Bobby, Art, and Janny. She was predeceased by her dear sister Victoria Jones. A memorial service will be held at Riverside United Church, 695 Riverside Drive, London, on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2 pm. Predeceased by his twin sister Georgina Arrand and sisters Sadie Gough and Anna Reycraft. Arthur will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by relatives and friends; he was a mentor to many, a travelling companion and a good friend.
