SANSOM, Donald “Don”
Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in his 82nd year. Dear father of the late Sharon Holland (2005) and her husband Ray of Cambridge, Mark Sansom, Greg Sansom and his wife Christine all of London, Geoff Sansom and his wife Linda of Barrie. Also loved by his grandchildren Jamie and Danny Holland; Gabrielle, Ben, Colton, Mitchell and Caleb Sansom. Dear brother of Bruce Sansom of Edmonton, AB and David Sansom and his wife Linda of Whitby. Predeceased by his brother Ross Sansom and his sister Lois McGarvey. Don will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Donna (Groat) Angood (in her 76th year) on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Victoria Hospital, London. Beloved wife of Jim Angood for 49 years. Much loved mom of Kerri-Lynn Edmondson (Mike) of Markham, Kathy-Jo Brine (Jamie) of Belmont and Jamie Angood (Sarah) of London. Proud grandma of TJ, Payton, Ava, Liam, Braedin and Britlynn. Dear sister of Lois Trimble (Ralph) of Ballantrae. Also survived by her brother-in-law Albert Angood (Annette) of Chatham, sister-in-law Linda Burrill (Glen) of Ingersoll and dear friend Jeannie Davies. Predeceased by her granddaughter Molly (2009). Donna will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. Donna was a teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board for over 35 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking and sang in many choirs, including Earle Terry Singers, Westview and Central Baptist Churches. She loved to shop, knit, travel and read but most of all her biggest joys were her precious grandchildren and spending time with her family. A special thank you to family and friends for your support, Drs. Sugimoto, Welch and Malik, the medical and support staff at Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. The Lord took unto Himself His convenant child, Linda Engbers, on October 7, 2015 at Dearness Home, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the Late Herman Engbers. Loving mother of Herman, Pete (Hettie) Engbers, and Helen (John) Vanderwoerd. Cherished Oma to Jessica (Brent) Lanting, Christopher (Kennedy) Engbers, Stephanie Engbers, Kaitlin (Dustin) Wieske, Emily Engbers, Lee-Anne (Justin) Cowling, Jennifer (John) Crowder, Adrian (Sarah ) Vanderwoerd, Rob (Lydia) Vanderwoerd and Jocelyn Vanderwoerd. Great Oma to 13 great grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Pete ( Nel), Jake (Nel), Albert (the late Sandra), and sisters Elly (Jack), Lies (Gerhard), Freda, Ann (Conrad), Tina ( the late Gerrit) . Predeceased by siblings John ( the late Tiny) and Pieterke. Also survived by sister-in-laws Netta and Minie. Friends will be received by the family at A. In the comfort of her home, after a courageous battle with cancer, Anne (Demooy) of London in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Ron Griffin. Cherished mother of Lisa Kenney (Bruce), John LeBlanc all of Cambridge and Joe LeBlanc of Welland. Proud grandmother of Ryan, Fallon, Kiara, Jacob and Andrew. Dear sister of Casey Demooy (Nancy) of London, Peter Demooy (Carolyn) of Delta, BC and Louise Thompson (Jim) of London. Also survived by her brother-in-law Casey Does. Predeceased by her parents Johanus and Cornelia Demooy and her sister Audrey Does. She will lovingly be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Anne had a love for travel with her husband Ron, a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. A special thank you to the VON Palliative Care Team for their professionalism and compassion during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. Loving mother of Rob Fraser and his wife Jo, Sue Martins and her husband Mike and Dave Fraser. Cherished Nanna of Alex, Jamie, Abby, Fraser and Megan. Dear sister-in-law of Judy Mills. Predeceased by her brother Tom Mills. Missed by nieces; Louise and Aimee and their families. After a lengthy career in teaching, Gwen devoted the latter years of her life serving the Lord as The Reverend Gwen Fraser – Deacon at St. George’s Anglican Church, dedicating her time to numerous community outreach programs. Passed peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on October 2, 2015. Earl was in his 90th year. Proud father to three boys Steve (predeceased in 2008) and his wife Anita, Mark and wife Janice and Brad and late wife Lori (predeceased in 2004). Earl was admired by his Grandchildren Brandon and wife Nina Rudd, Georgia Rudd and Noah Rudd from New Zealand. Earlier this year, Earl became a Great-grandfather for the first time with the arrival of baby Avery. Family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Hospital for their ongoing care over the past 3 years. Earl was very proud to have been associated with the Shriners and enjoyed traveling as part of the Jeepster brigade. Thanks to all the special people at Parkwood Institute for providing the comfort and happiness that Earl enjoyed. Dearly missed by his parents Roza Hessel and the late Dirk Bouma (2001) and his wonderful companion Cuddles.
