BROUMPTON: At her late residence on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008, R. Lorraine (Williamson) Broumpton in her 80th year. Loved wife for 49 years of the late C. Jack Broumpton (2001). At Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Sunday May 25, 2008 The Reverend Lyle Albert Bennett , formerly of Berkshire Drive, London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” (Szabo) Bennett. Dear father of Robert of Toronto. Loved grandfather of Gregory and Kevin both of Toronto and Micheal and his wife Sarah of Milton and great-grandfather of Ella. Dear brother of Alton and his wife Mary of Virgil and Carmen of Belle River. Also survived by his nephews William, George, Jack and Wayne and nieces Cathy, Caroline and Mary-Ann. Predeceased by his son Thomas and his sisters Clara Byng and Muriel Bennett Horne. Lyle worked for Chrysler for over 15 years. He was ordained in 1960 and served as a faithful priest in the Anglican Diocese of Huron until 1968, when he began a leave of absence as a priest in good standing. He later became a member of the Workers Compensation Board for 20 years. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London where a memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Archdeacon Ken Anderson officiating. Glory Caroline (Jenkinson) Wilson passed into “Life Eternal” on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her residence, in her 96th year. Glory was the beloved wife of the late Russell Wilson (1979). Left to mourn her passing is her son, Paul Wilson of London, and her daughter, Elaine Wilson-Beares (Len) of High River, AB. Also surviving are three grand-daughters; Dr. Christine Gray (Stuart) and Sarah Panara (Guido) all of Calgary and Susanne Myers (Dr. Eugene) of Sarasota, Florida. Also loved by her six great-grandchildren; Olivia, Paul, Liam, Anna, Lillian and Allegra. Missed by her many nieces and nephews. Glory was predeceased by her parents Albert and Angelina Jenkinson, her brother Albert Jenkinson, her sisters Margaret Swale and Enid Chapman, and her dearly loved grandson Paul Hawco. Glory’s family lived in Ottawa where she grew up and received her education. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the A. Jean was a well liked and respected teacher in London and an active member of her church for many years. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Good Samaritan Cupboard and a member of Sweet Adelines.
