    Peacefully at her residence on Friday May 30, 2008 Mrs. Melba (Jacques) Barclay in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late William Arthur Barclay (1988). Survived by her close friends Bonnie Crombleholme and her husband Anthony and their children Sydney, Marnie, and Sinjon of London. Dear aunt of Bill Perry of Ingersoll, Ronnie Barclay of London and Edward Perry of British Columbia. Dear sister-in-law of Gladys Barclay of London. Predeceased by two sisters Thelma Jacques and Jenny Perry . Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday June 3, 2008 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the A. Loving mother of Jack of Sudbury, Catherine Brennan of London and David and his wife Nancy of Colorado, U.S.A. Nana to her 5 dear grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jessica, Krista, Evan and Annalyse. Mother-in-law of Norma Henry of Sudbury. Also remembered by Harry Taylor. Greatly missed by her good friend Margaret Kenny, her 3 sisters-in-law Mary Ellen Williamson, Lil Williamson, Ellen Marceau, her brother-in-law Richard Broumpton and a sister Shirley. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Roy, Neil and Donald Williamson and her sisters Thelma Julia Lawrance and Mary Louise Henderson. Cremation has taken place.     Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital Betty Ann (Jones) Foley on Monday May 26th, 2008 in her 79th year. Predeceased by her sisters Mrs. Margaret Russell, Mrs. Helen Pocock and her brother Mr. Casey Jones. Also loved by her niece Mrs. Margie Curts and her husband Lloyd of Arkona and her great nieces and nephews. Special thank you to her companions Truus and Wendy for their unconditional care and support. Also thanks to the nurses and doctors of the 4th floor University Hospital and the 3rd floor nurses at Mount Hope. Betty will be fondly remembered by her friends at the Ealing Pharmacy, London.     At Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Sunday May 25, 2008 The Reverend Lyle Albert Bennett , formerly of Berkshire Drive, London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” (Szabo) Bennett. Dear father of Robert of Toronto. Loved grandfather of Gregory and Kevin both of Toronto and Micheal and his wife Sarah of Milton and great-grandfather of Ella. Dear brother of Alton and his wife Mary of Virgil and Carmen of Belle River. Also survived by his nephews William, George, Jack and Wayne and nieces Cathy, Caroline and Mary-Ann. Predeceased by his son Thomas and his sisters Clara Byng and Muriel Bennett Horne. Lyle worked for Chrysler for over 15 years. He was ordained in 1960 and served as a faithful priest in the Anglican Diocese of Huron until 1968, when he began a leave of absence as a priest in good standing. He later became a member of the Workers Compensation Board for 20 years. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London where a memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Archdeacon Ken Anderson officiating.     Glory Caroline (Jenkinson) Wilson passed into “Life Eternal” on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her residence, in her 96th year. Glory was the beloved wife of the late Russell Wilson (1979). Left to mourn her passing is her son, Paul Wilson of London, and her daughter, Elaine Wilson-Beares (Len) of High River, AB. Also surviving are three grand-daughters; Dr. Christine Gray (Stuart) and Sarah Panara (Guido) all of Calgary and Susanne Myers (Dr. Eugene) of Sarasota, Florida. Also loved by her six great-grandchildren; Olivia, Paul, Liam, Anna, Lillian and Allegra. Missed by her many nieces and nephews. Glory was predeceased by her parents Albert and Angelina Jenkinson, her brother Albert Jenkinson, her sisters Margaret Swale and Enid Chapman, and her dearly loved grandson Paul Hawco. Glory’s family lived in Ottawa where she grew up and received her education. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where visitation will be held from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008. The funeral service will be conducted by The Reverend Canon Sidney G. Jean was a well liked and respected teacher in London and an active member of her church for many years. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Good Samaritan Cupboard and a member of Sweet Adelines. Predeceased by her dear companion Kenneth Light. A sweet, elegant and gentle soul, she will be missed by many friends and the staff at Waverley Mansion.
