Naldo Bracci

Peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, Palliative Care, surrounded by the love and devotion of his daughters, Naldo Bracci of London in his 87th year now reunited with his beloved wife Sylvia (2006). Dedicated and loving father of Cheryl Kane (late Drew) of London, Paula Lamothe (Ronald) of Ottawa and Patti Livingstone of London. Cherished grandfather of Karla, Kyle, Renee, Robert, Paul, Kelly and Curtis (Kristin). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A pioneer born and raised in White River, Ontario, a proud man who never forgot his roots. A true gentleman with a genuine love for his family, friends, faith and Northern Ontario. An incredible hardworking and shrewd businessman who served his community well as Reeve, Chairman of the Improvement District and Justice of the Peace. Truly a personable man who touched the lives of many in his own special way. He will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. His legacy will live on forever. IAN ROBINSON
Ian, at the age of 81 passed away on Thursday morning, June 12, 2008 after brief stay at Humber Hospital, Toronto. He was born in Windsor, Ontario and raised in Paris Ontario by Ken and Ruth Robinson. Spending most of the last 45 years in London, he was a longtime member of Highland Golf & Country Club and worked as Western Ontario Sales Manager of Hiram Walker and Sons. A lifetime member of The London Musicians Association, as well as Rotary, A.C.T. and Calvary United Church. Ian’s talents as a saxophonist and bandleader of The Ian Robinson Trio will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving family; wife Margaret, son Chris and his wife Linda, daughter Laura and her husband Mark Ettlinger and his adoring grandchildren, Andy Robinson and Jack and Julia Ettlinger. His loving and generous spirit has been a constant inspiration for us all. Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Ian on Wednesday, June 18th from 7PM till 9PM at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London where funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th, 1PM. Donations in Ian’s name may be made to the London Humane Society.

At the London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, Robert “Bob” Joseph Marr Sr. of London in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Betty of 63 years. Proud father of Judith L. Marr-Burk and her husband Bryan of Houston, TX., Bob Jr. and his wife Carol of London. Predeceased by his son David Alan Marr. Dear father-in-law of Susy Marr of Grand Prairie, TX. Bob will also be missed by his nieces and his nephew. Bob served in both the Canadian Navy and Army during WW II. He served with honour and much distinction in during the Italy Campaign. After serving in the Military, Bob and his wife Betty moved with their two children, Judy and Bob Jr. to join his two brothers and families in South Texas. Bob and his two brothers Jack and Harold established a successful and prominent meat packing business. Later in his career he joined the (NFIB) National Federation of Independent Business, where he again served with honour and distinction for 25 years. During this period Bob received numerous accolades, both State (TX) and National Level. After retiring from the NFIB, Bob and his wife returned to London, Ontario. The family offers sincere extended gratitude to the staff at Parkwood Hospital and Victoria Hospital.
