It was a pleasure to know Betty since her days at Ealing Pharmacy when I was very young. She was a wonderful lady. It was a pleasure to spend the past week with her along with her caregivers Wendy and Truus. Wendy and Truus are truly an inspiration of love and caring.

My mom (Vera) and I are very very sad that Betty is no longer with us. My mom is her friend at Mount Hope and they have sat at the same table for a few years. I always say this is harder for those of us left behind as we miss seeing our friend and I know this is so true for my mom. Just going to the table each day will remind her of Betty but it will also bring back happy memories as well. Betty was definitely feisty and she not only left an impact on my mother but also on myself, my son and even my fiancee! We totally expected that Betty would be there for our big day in Aug as we are getting married in the chapel at Mount Hope which we had actually told her about already. I know she will be there but it won’t be the same when we can’t see her.
We miss you Betty
Love the Vera, Teresa, Geoff, Andrew and Chris
I dont know what to say.. I wish we could of met. Im looking for my family. Audrey was my grandmother. Sorry for the Foley and Jones family. My deepest sympathy goes out to you..
There are times when the right words just don’t exist, times when feelings are too deep to be expressed…but in the midst of sorrow, we hope it will help a little to know how much we are thinking of Betty. Donna Thompson, Diane Gagne and all the staff @ S.M 3rd floor. We will miss her.
