Cherished father of Lynda Butler and her husband Paul of London and Dale Buckley and his wife Linda of Margaree, Nova Scotia. Loving grandfather of Lisa Marie Butler and her husband Antony Davies of Toronto, Shannon Nicole Butler of London, Amanda Lynn Buckley of Cornwall, and great-grandfather of Laura Buckley. Dear brother of Audrey LeClair of St. John, NB. Dear brother-in-law of Nelson Angus and his wife Terry Angus of Shawville, Quebec and Connie Buckley of St. John, NB. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Alan Arthur Buckley, his brothers Percy, Roy and his sisters Dorothy, Aeriel, Irene and Rhona. He served with dignity and honour in the Merchant Navy (1943-48), Korean War (1952-53) and Canadian Army (1952-75). Pat Humphrey passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the age of 77 after a determined six year struggle against cancer. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Henry Humphrey (2004). Dear mother of Janet Humphrey and her husband Stephen Englehardt of Alliston, Jill Humphrey and Ian Humphrey of England. Loved by her grandchildren, Colleen, Allison, Dillon and Nikki. Dear sister of April Chappell of London. Beloved aunt of Andrea and Brian, Tina and Melissa and Ian. Fondly remembered by family members in England. Leaves behind a wide circle of friends across London, Canada and the United Kingdom. After a long career at John Labatt Ltd., she enjoyed her retirement, dividing her time between family, wintering in Florida, and as a volunteer extraordinaire to many organizations and individuals.
