    Peacefully at University Hospital, London,on Thursday, February 19, 2009, Helen (Fountain) Roberts of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold E. Roberts (1989). Dear mother of Judy Guest and her husband George Cruickshank of London and Steve Roberts and his wife Lynda of Petersburg. Cherished grandmother of Alana and Kelly Guest and Kristen, Lindsay, Brittany Roberts and great-grandmother of Avery Munroe. Dear sister of Jean Jorgenson and sister-in-law Ruth Fountain. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother John Fountain and brother-in-law Gordon Jorgenson. The family would like to thank the staff on the 6th and 7th floor University Hospital for their compassion and care.     APPELMAN: Martinus “Max”….With heavy hearts, but a great sense of peace, the family announces the peaceful passing of Max Appelman in his 81st year, on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Tine (Klip) Appelman for 58 years. Loving father of Archie and Hilda, Jane and Gerben, Jack , Julie and Gary and Agnes and George all of the London area. Loving grandfather of Tine, Catherine, Jennifer, Craig, Doeke Mark, Christopher, Marcus and Theresa. Great-grandfather of Amanda. Also survived by his sisters, Janke and Betty, his brothers-in-law Jan Klip and Ray White and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Dear mother of Cindy Cole and her husband Donald and Peter Wise and his wife Nancy. Sister of Gerry Fleming and his wife Rosemary. Predeceased by her brothers Clair and William Fleming. Sister-in-law of Leona and June Fleming. Also loved by Bill’s children, Cheryl and Martin and Grant and Barbara, her grandchildren, Heather, Laurel and Tyler, Christopher, Melissa, Dustin, Brandon, Andrew, Ashley, Adam and Donald and her 4 great-grandchildren. Proud father of Kenney Pawley Jr., Ronald Pawley and his wife Betty, Doreen Smith and her husband Bill and Marilyn Surette and her husband Lee all of London. Also loved by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special brother of Madelene George, Hilda Smith, Ruth Phillips and Mary Wamsley. Also survived by his several nieces and nephews.     Miss Jean Renwick, formerly of Durham, passed away peacefully at Grand Wood Park Retirement Home, London on February 8, 2009. Born in Dromore, Ontario in 1911 daughter of the late Kathleen (Dixon) and Robert Renwick. Sadly missed by nieces Pat and Judy and nephews David, Bob and Neil and sister-in-law Ellen Renwick. Predeceased by brothers Walter, George, Herb, Bob, Bill, sisters Kathleen, Helen and sisters-in-law Jean Renwick of Durham and Anne Renwick of Peterborough.Jean was a Registered Nurse and worked in many hospitals in Ontario. Jean and her family moved from Durham to London (638 Percy Street) in 1952. Jean nursed at Westminster Hospital looking after many war veterans until she retired. Friends will be received by the family after 12:00 pm on Friday, February 13 ,2009 at the A.
