Dear mother of Harold Gorman and Linda Quinn and her husband Garnet all of London, Richard Gorman and his wife Karen of Strathroy and Robert Gorman and his wife Becki of Courtney, B.C. Also loved by her eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers, three sisters and her grandson Bradley Gorman. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the complete funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 11:00 am. Dear sister of Nancy Johnston and her husband Bill of Huntsville and sister-in-law Evelyn Crawford and her husband Keith of London. Missed by her nephews Todd (Karen), Matt and her nieces Susan (AJ), Helen (Perry) and Tracy (Dave), by her great-nephew Connor and her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Predeceased by her father Clayton Hamil, mother Peggie Paul and her sister-in-law Helen Vine. Cremation has taken place. Loving brother of Jessie Glover and Bethia Winchester all of Calgary. Dear brother-in-law of Doris Turcott and Bob Davey and wife Bette. Also missed by his nieces and nephews; Davey, Diane, Bob, Harlan, Jim, Jane, Bo, Tim, Karen, Mike, Linda, Iris and his great-nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Bill, Andy, Robert, Elizabeth and Margaret and his brother-in-law Allan Turcott. Major Mackie served with Lord Strathcona’s Horse (RCAC) for over 30 years. He was a member of Vimy Legion No. 145, member of FSNAS and member of the London United Services Institute. Hugh was a veteran of WWII and Korea. Rose Suzanne (Robinson) Ash is deeply missed and gratefully appreciated by her sons Richard and Stephen, daughter-in-law Deborah, her grandchildren Catherine, Charlotte, Gerrit and Jordan, all of London, as well as her beloved sister Elizabeth Postma (Arthur) and brothers Charles (Miriam), Brian (Mary) and Bruce Robinson. Beloved “Nanny” to Warren, Rachel, Jonathan, Nathaniel and Naomi. Now at home and alive in Christ, with her parents Charles and Dorothy and her brother Paul. A lifelong Londoner, Suzanne was loved and respected by all who met her as church secretary, Sunday School teacher, financial advisor, bookkeeper, seamstress, church leader or friend. “Blessed are they which die in the Lord; they may rest from their labours, and their works follow them”.
