    HODGE, Florence Mary……It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Florence Mary (Chavner) Hodge on Friday, July 3, 2009 in Oakville, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Matthew C. Hodge. Pre-deceased by her loving sister, Dorothy Volker. Loving mother to her two children Mary and her husband Larry Thomas of Oakville and Carl and his wife Jane Everett of Kelowna, B.C. Nana will be missed by her four grandchildren – Melanie Rogers (Justin) of Melbourne Australia, Melissa Reid of Oakville, Daniel Cameron of Toronto, and Laura Cameron of Kelowna, as well as her two great-grandsons Noah and Brody Rogers of Melbourne, Australia. Florence is also survived by her sisters-in-law Mary Hodge and Gladys Gale and her brother-in-law Gerry (Phyllis) Hodge, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral sevice will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.     At Trafalgar Terrace Retirement Residence on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 Mrs. Leah Irene ( Hart ) Mater of London in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Mater. Dear mother of Donna Chesney and her husband Gord of London and Sandy Morrison and her husband Bob of Arva. Loved grandmother of Jim Chesney and wife Kim, Gord Chesney, Karen Chesney, Laurie Graham, Jamie Morrison and wife Jenn and Sari Morrison and great grandmother of Tarran Chesney and partner John, Calie Chesney and partner Scott, Dylan Chesney, Ashley Graham and friend Hawk, Taylor Graham and friend Travis, and Robbie and Evelyn Morrison. Predeceased by her grand-son-in-law Derek Weiler (2009). Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where a memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Reverend Thomas D. Hiscock officiating. Dear mother of Lynn H. Goth and his wife Pat of West Bolton, Quebec and Fred Goth of London. Predeceased by her son G. William Goth. Dear sister of Mrs. Jean Donnelly of Hamilton. Dear mother-in-law of Heather Tuniga (Harp) of London. Also loved by her grandchildren Janice Goth (Santiago), Mark Goth and Allen Goth, Peter Goth (Anna), Susan Nemec (Karel) and Christopher Goth and her great-grandchildren James, Sarah, Julia, Jennifer and Meagan.     After a long struggle with Alzhiemers at London Regional Mental Health on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, Earl James Tilley in his 82nd year. Earl was born in Round Harbor Newfoundland May 21, 1928 and moved to Ontario in 1949. Beloved husband of Phyllis K. (Dobbs) Tilley. Loving father of Barry Tilley and his wife Wanda of Wasaga, Ken Tilley and his wife Debra of Centralia and Deborah Tilley and her partner Debbie of London. Sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also missed by his brother Cecil Tilley of Wiarton. Predeceased by his parents Josiah and Naomi Tilley, his brothers Louis, George and Sam and sister Geraldine Collins. A special thank you to London Regional Mental Health for their great patients and care over the last 3 years. Cremation has taken place.     – In her 97th year, Beatrice Ellen (Gare) Fox went to be with her Lord on June 23, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, W. Heman Fox (2000), daughter Betty Hester (1998), grandson Mark Felker (1992), granddaughter Debra Frith (2008), brothers Melvin Gare (1982) and Gordon (1992), and sisters Lois Wigelsworth (1999) and Olive Simpson (2004). She will be missed by her children: Fred Hester, Joyce and Bill Daw, Helen and Weldon Westlake, Carol Felker, Anne and Frank Maxwell, Mary and Gary Roberts, 11 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, a brother Frank Gare, and a sister-in-law Edna Gare. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Beatrice’s life on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 1:00pm at Knollwood Baptist Church, 800 Cheapside Street.
