Mary Alice,
I will always remember how welcome I felt when I would come and stay at your house on Kipp’s Lane.Your Mom would feed me and treat me like one of her own. She was a special lady. Now that we have this great connector– e-mail– I would love to hear from you. Take care Hazel
Dear Carl & the Hodge family,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved mother. I recall fondly, visits with both of your parents. My late husband, Gilbert, had the upmost respect for both of them. Wishing you comfort, in your time of sorrow.
Respectfully,
Maureen Moll
To the Hodge family and relatives,
My thoughts are with you at this time. Losing a mother and friend is so painful but knowing that she lives on through all of you will hopefully not only ease your sorrow but will add a lovely dimension to your lives. Moms do that for all of us. Many hugs and much love, Bethan,Hal, Kyle, Kirsten and Dominic
I am belatedly offering my condolences on behalf of my whole family. My father, George Johnson, is Florence’s cousin (His mother Dorothy (Wild) Johnson was Florence’s mother Mary (Wild) Chavner’s sister.) My father and I were doing some family research today and came upon this Obituary Notice.
Florence and Dorothy were so wonderful to me when I was a starving student living in London and attending Western. They would invite me over for Sunday dinner.
When I was married and had my own children, we made sure to stop in and visit when in London, and we would see them when they visited my parents in Scarborough.
