Also loved by her grandchildren Christine Watson and her husband Brian, Jennifer Roedding Niles and her husband Cody Niles, Jill Roedding and her husband Scott Switzer, Kelly Taylor and her husband James and Paul Roedding (Lisa) all of London and her great-grandchildren Brayden and Keara Niles and Megan and Connor Switzer.     Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 8, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Danny Bruce McHardie (of London) in his 64th year, entered the hands of God. Beloved husband of Gail Lynn (Drummond) McHardie for 37 years. Cherished father of Steve (Dianne) of Michigan, Jason (Priya) of Ilderton, Jennifer (Kris) of Woodstock, Amy (Joe) and Danielle all of London. Adored “Grampy” of Kara, Christiana, Chas and Brianna. Loved brother of Marina (Dan) of London. Dear brother-in-law of Celia (Jerry) of London. Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. Danny had a distinguished 35 year career with The Electrical Safety Authority (Ontario Hydro). Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, June 11, 2009, from 7 – 9pm and again on Friday, June 12, 2009, from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9pm at the A. Alf was always interested in catching up on “the happenings” of his nieces and nephews (great and great-great).
