Peacefully with family by his side and after the challenge of living with cancer at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, September 20, 2009, Walter Leslie Armstrong in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Beverley Armstrong. Cherished father of Michael Armstrong, Steven Armstrong and his wife Lisa and Kristen Bryans and her partner Andrew Kellet. Lovingly remembered by his most precious grand-daughter Morgan. Sadly missed by his brother and sisters Geraldine Lutes and her husband Ralph, Maureen Armstrong, William Armstrong and his wife Teresa and Arlene Armstrong. Also missed by his nieces and nephews Rick Leddy and his wife Carol, Ron Leddy, Jacqualene Armstrong, William Armstrong and many other nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Margaret Knight and her husband Jim. Walt is predeceased by his father John “Jack” and survived by his mother Myrtle Armstrong. Walt is also predeceased by his sister Colleen Armstrong. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1:00pm with Reverend Gail Malcolm officiating.
