    On Friday, November 4th, 2011 the Lord took home His child, Maureen (Van Vliet) Eising of London in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Eising (2006). Loving mother of Tony Eising, Harry Eising and his wife Jackie, Margaret Barnard and her husband Jon, and Darlene Rock and her husband Laverne. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandsons and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Friends will be received by the family 1/2 hour prior (10:30-11am) at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 716 Classic Drive, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00a.m. with Reverend John Van Til and Reverend Eric Groot-Nibbelink officiating.     At Parkwood Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2011 Frank Nuttall of London , age 85. Beloved husband on Elizabeth (Cochrane) Nuttall. Dear father of Leigh (Andy) and Lesley (John) all in England. Dear step-father of Don (Sue) of Toronto. Dear brother of Irene (Ken) in England. Also loved by his grandchildren Jake, George and Beti. Dear brother-in-law of Anne McLean (Ian) and Marion and Iain (2008) Cochrane all of London. Also loved by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Cremation has taken place.     Born in Dumbarton, Scotland, passed away at Parkwood Hospital Oct 31 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Morris (1992). She is sadly missed by her daughter June and husband David (Aitken) of London, Ontario, and son Robert and wife Janice of Kirkintilloch, Scotland. Her loss is felt by her grandchildren Paul and his partner Valérie, Susan and her husband Benjamin (Feuhr), Ruth, and Eilidh. For 28 years Cathie was superintendent of the El Mar apartments at 186 Elmwood Avenue in Old South. She retired at the age of 88 and after 30 years in Canada Cathie proudly became a Canadian citizen in September 2011. A celebration of her life will take place Sunday Nov. 6th from 2 – 4 pm at the A.     Peacefully surrounded by his family at Parkwood Hospital, London on Monday, October 31, 2011, Reverend Lloyd G. Cracknell in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Mary-Anne (McKenzie) Cracknell and the late Helen (Crawford) Cracknell. Loving father of Greg Cracknell (Joanne) of Woodstock and Mary Cracknell of London. Special Papa of Jamie-Lee Cracknell Bossenberry. Dear brother of Arthur Cracknell and his wife Lenore of Thamesville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his five sisters and eight brothers. Born on a farm in Zone Township (near Thamesville), one of fifteen children and the eighth child of John and Lily Cracknell. As a young man, after a short term in the RCAF, he owned and operated a grocery store for eight years in Thamesville. Always interested in the welfare of the sick and aged, he worked on several committees, within this city. He also served two terms on the London Transit Commission and after his retirement served in Toronto for 6 years on the Ontario Advisory Counsel for senior citizens for the province of Ontario. While a lay reader and deacon he served in the parishes of Alvinston and Inwood, before coming to London. In 1956 he graduated from Huron College, received his degree and in 1958 began what was to be his entire ministry at The Church of St. Jude (Adelaide and Fanshawe Park Road), until his retirement in 1986. Reverend Cracknell served as Rector for 30 years. Following his retirement he served as assistant at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, London. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11am at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London, with Reverend Dr. Gary Nicolosi officiating.   • Reverend George Edward Cox

    Peacefully, in London, on Saturday, October 29, 2011, Reverend George Edward Cox in his 93rd year. Loving husband of Reitta (Ellis) Cox for 68 years. Father of Katheleen Ellis (Kathryn Forester) and the late Sterling Cox (1997) (Margaret). Dear grandfather of Richard Cox (Sian) and Suzanne Uren. Also loved by his great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emma and Luke Cox and Timothy and Jonathan Uren. Predeceased by his sister Rhoda Ellis and brothers Clifford, Victor and Ernest Cox. He was a good husband and father with great love for his family and took pleasure in celebrating the milestones in their lives. George attended Kingsville High School and the Salvation Army Training College in Toronto, graduating as a Salvation Army Officer in 1940. He pursued further theological studies in South Africa and attended Huron College at UWO, graduating with a Bachelor of Ministry in 1971. He spent 13 years with the Salvation Army in Canada and South Africa, and 14 years with the Congregational Church in South Africa, before returning to Canada in 1968. With the United Church of Canada, he ministered in Melbourne, Windsor, Corunna and Comber, as well as working with the UCC Conference office in London. He assisted in the opening and served on the 1st Salvation Army Mission Station in the African township of Lobatse near Johannesburg. While in South Africa he was a founding member of the first Lion’s Club in South Africa. He retired as a full-time minister at 65 years of age and returned with Reitta to her home town of Essex. He continued to conduct Sunday church services in the area, helping churches that had no ministers. He became very active in Essex’s Rotary Club (serving in many capacities, including President), and in the Legion as Chaplain for several years. He was also active in the Essex Heritage Committee and spearheaded the drive to refurbish the old Essex Railway Station. Whatever responsibility he took on, he gave it his best knowledge and energy. He was an interesting and forceful preacher and every church thrived under his leadership. Friends will be received by the family from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, November 3rd at Colborne Street United Church, 711 Colborne Street, London followed by the funeral service at the church at 1:00 pm.
