SHANKLIN, Randolph Derrick

Surrounded by his family, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Saturday, March 7, 2015, the family announces the peaceful passing of Randy Shanklin in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Kim (Levy) Shanklin for 25 years. Dearly loved father of Hilary and Ashley Shanklin. Missed by his furry companion Toffee. Much loved brother of Wendy Louise (Peter) Lenders of Ilderton and Brenda Lynn Shanklin of London. Also survived by his mother-in-law Norma Levy and “Nan” Marion Webb both of St. Marys, brother-in-law Ken (Barb) Levy, St. Marys and sister-in-law Karen (Mark) Mace, Stratford. Predeceased by his parents George and Evelyn Shanklin of Ilderton. Randy will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. At Victoria Hospital, London on Friday March 6, 2015 , Betty Doreen (Wise) Marsh, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Cowman Marsh. Loving mother of John (Paulina) of Vancouver, Bradley (Patty) of Ottawa, and Paul (Carol) of London. Dear sister of James (Penny) Wise and the late Gordon Wise. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; the late William and his wife Audrey Marsh and Frank Marsh. Loved by her grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Anna, Erik, Patrick, Victoria, Madeline, Jennifer and Harrison. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 7pm – 9pm, at A. West, Helen Kathleen….

Helen Kathleen West (nee Lockridge) passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Her intellect, common sense, sense of humour and abundance of loving stayed with her throughout a very difficult and lengthy period of ill health. Relatives and friends were a great help in maintaining her disposition in spite of what she was enduring. Helen was very accomplished in many areas: notably motherhood, witness sons Mike and Paul; community involvement for which shewas named to the Wingham Sport Wall of Fame for her efforts in getting the first swimming pool; and establishing and supervising the Lockridge Midget Hockey Tournament in honour of her father, Walter. Her employment record included CKNX Wingham where she and husband Roger met. Their love of travel started with the 1972 Hockey series in Moscow and saw family visits in Europe and throughout North America. Her kind heart and warmest smile will always be missed. A very proud Grandmother, Helen is survived by her husband Roger West, her sons Michael and Donna Fleury (Kamloops) and Paul and Susan Fleury (London); a number of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many supportive relatives. Cremation has taken place. Helen’s Life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14th from 2-5pm in the Reception Centre at the A. CAIN, Leslie John Sr…

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, on February 27, 2015, Leslie Cain in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Rose Cain for 52 years. Cherished father of John Cain and his wife Janet of England and Leslie Cain and his wife Gayle of Minnesota. Proud grandfather of Lauren, Rhiannon and Leslie “Adam” Cain. Dear brother of Emily, George, David, Gladys, Doris, Robert, Winnifred and Mary Ann Beatrice “Mabs”. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and especially by his niece Lesley. Leslie joined the Navy at 17 years of age on an armed merchant cruiser during World War 11 and served and saw action throughout World War 11. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service.
