    BOEHM, Debra…… At Victoria Hospital, London, after a lengthy illness, Debra (Egelton) Boehm, in her 59th year. Beloved mother of Matthew Boehm (Michelle) and Jessica-June Boehm. Her loving husband of 29 years is Michael Boehm. Loving sister of Pam Kullo-Egelton (Gary Manning), Charlie Egelton (Jean), Wendy Egelton (Scott MacArthur), and Joy Lajoie-Cowell (Dan Lajoie). Cherished sister-in-law of Linda Gross (Anthony), Nancy Snowden (Terry), Stephen Boehm (Marilyn), Barb Nikyuluw (Ray), Paula Conrad (John) and Maureen Silvera (Tony). Dear daughter-in-law of Rita Boehm. Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Reunited with her guardian angel and mother June (1988). She will be dearly missed by her many fur babies: Morgan, Gypsie, Sammie, Ollie and reunited with her angel doggie Frodo. Debra was a woman who helped not only her own family, but countless others through her work for over 30 years in the Neonatal Unit. She was an animal advocate and a kind friend to all.     It is with much sadness and great love that the family announces the peaceful passing of Matt Lynch, age 76, at Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Johnston) Lynch for over 34 years and loving friend of Anna Findlater. Cherished father of Andrew (Kandra) Lynch and Heather Lynch (Nathan Lundrigan). Proud grandfather of Niall, Timothy and Feargus and grandfather to fur babies Kobi, Gryphon and Magnus. Dear brother of Jim (Kath) Lynch, Billy (Beryl) Lynch, Helen Dempsey, Pat McAllister, May Ferguson. Survived by his sister-in law Clare Lynch. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Jean Lynch, his brothers Bobby and Alec and sisters Betty, her husband Frank Knight and Margaret, her husband Jack Sill and his brothers-in-law Willie Dempsey, Peter McAllister and Davey Ferguson. Matt will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A 40 year veteran of the London real estate community, Matt took pride in his work and the relationships he fostered.   • Bruce Heighway

    HEIGHWAY, R. Bruce…. Quietly, at home, as he had wished R. Bruce Heighway of London, on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Hunt) Heighway for 65years. Loving father of Catherine Heighway and her husband Wally MacKinnon; Steve Heighway and his wife Kim. Devoted Papa of Mitchell Heighway and his fiancé Meg Sloan, Brent Heighway and Emily MacKinnon. Dear brother of Bob Heighway and his wife Midge and brother-in-law of Betty Bathgate and her husband Bud, Don Winterton and Kit Hunt. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Reg and Jean (nee Auty) Heighway, brother Don, sister Mary Jane Winterton and brother-in-law George Hunt. Bruce grew up in Arva and attended Beal Tech. He met Jeanne at a school dance after a football game. They married in 1951, constructed the house where they lived for 60 years, raised their family and built their life together. Bruce retired as Head Purchasing Agent at the London PUC, where he worked for 19 years. He was an avid curler at the Ilderton Curling Club, active in the Huff n’ Puff biking group and Cardiac Rehab at the YMCA; a proud member of Middlesex Lodge No. 379 A.F. & A.M., London East Masonic District for 50 years, serving as Past Master (1977) and member of the Mocha Shrine. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Salvation Army. Bruce loved being together with his family, particularly at their cottage at St Joseph’s on Lake Huron, enjoyed extensive travels with Jeanne and was present for almost every game, competition or musical event of his grandchildren. A kind, quiet and gentle man who leaves a legacy of hard work, dedication, resiliency, humour and love. Deep appreciation to Dr. Ferner and the VON palliative team, PSW’s especially Ella, Dr. Vincent and the London Regional Cancer Program as well as the myriad of doctors and medical professionals who cared for Bruce over the years. Friends will be received by the family from 7 – 9 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016 and 1 -2 pm, with a Celebration of Bruce’s life at 2 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the A.     Passed away peacefully at University Hospital on February 8th, 2016, Allan Sexton, in his 77th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Barbara and his son Christopher. Will be sadly missed by his step-son Jamie, and step-daughters, Kerry and Kristy, and grandchildren Darien, Jamison, Madison, Andrew and Max. Allan loved his work with Campbell Brothers Movers and enjoyed his days playing golf at Highland Golf and Country Club. As per Allan’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Dear father of Allan Johnson and his late wife Joy (2015) of Regina, SK; Howard Johnson and his wife Margaret of Surrey, BC; David Johnson and his wife Barbara of Ilderton; Cathy Lewis and her husband Ron of London; Linda Marr and her husband Colin of Stouffville and Paul Johnson and his wife Kim of Nanaimo, BC. Dear brother of the late Gordon Johnson and his wife Florence of St. Marys and Mary Field and her husband Steve of London. Also loved by his 14 grandchildren and his 8 great-grandchildren.   • Taft Aziz

    AZIZ, Taft…… Peacefully at Westmount Gardens Long Term Care on January 30th, 2016, Taft Aziz a retired business man in his 100th year lost his long and courageous battle with dementia. He leaves his beloved sister Mrs. Julie (late Elias) Bourisk of Maine and London, who cared for him for 17 years. Other survivors include his sister-in-law Josephine Aziz and her children Charles, Susan, Sandra, Peter, his wife Kate and their daughter Ellery of Toronto, as well as several nieces and nephews from Worcester, MA and Syracuse, NY. Predeceased by his brothers Albert and Philip, an international London artist, as well as his sisters Rose Aziz and Mary Ayoup of Montreal. He was a patriarchal figure, an uncle and father figure to his nieces and nephews in London. He lived a full and long life in the only city he knew as home. As a young man of 20 he took over his father’s wholesale fruit business during the early 30s and 40s. When his father died at the age of 61, he gave up the fruit business and entered the Empire House, and retired at 55 and then went into real estate. He was well known to many in London, having contributed greatly to charitable organizations and business development. In keeping with Taft’s wishes, our thanks to all the wonderful nurses, staff and doctors for the extraordinary, high quality of care they provided over the past 11 months with the dignity, the care, the comfort and compassion during his stay at Westmount Gardens and Victoria hospital. Taft was a long time member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Friends will be received by the family at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10 – 11 am, prayers at 11:15 am.     Peacefully surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, January 25, 2016, Andy Anderson in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Pullin) Anderson (2004). Proud father of Sandra Rank and her husband Don of London. Cherished Papa of Kerry and Erin Rank. Brother of Jessie Clayton. Missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Jim and Bob. Andy was a proud member for 60 years with St. John’s Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M. Two times Past Master of St. John’s Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M., Past District Deputy Grand Master – London East District, a 33rd Degree Honourary Inspector General of the Supreme Council, and a member of Mocha Shriners. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the mid Atlantic during WWII. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Dear sister of Mike (Marilyn), Bob, the late Tom (Melody) and Tim (Karen). Daughter-in-law of Aurora Durnan and sister-in-law of Trent (Jackie) Gow, Susan Gow and Margaret (Larry) Morrison. Dear niece of Lillian Dodd and Anne Dodd. Sadly missed by many cousins, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and Barb McMillan.
