    Peacefully in her sleep at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, Mary (McLachlan) Farquhar in her 99th year.  Beloved wife of Ken Farquhar. Loving mother of Barb Goebel (Bob) of Delaware. Dear step-mother of Karole Toombs (Stan) of London and Darlina Lockyer (Dean) of Little Current, Manitoulin Island. Cherished grandmother to her 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mother-in-law of Don Thomson of Nova Scotia and Steve Ager and his wife Susan of Oakville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughters Leslie Ager and Judy Thomson, her brothers Ted, Mitchell, Walter and Kenneth McLachlan and sisters Kay O’Keilly and Joyce Mollar. Mary had a pilot’s license and was president of Brantford Flying Club. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2 pm, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London.     Peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Victoria Hospital, London, Betty Forrest passed away in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Walter for 61 years. Dear mother of Dr. Jo-Ann Bice and her husband Kevin of Pittsburgh, Penn., Rev. Nancy Clarke and her husband Rev. Bill Clarke of Kingston, ON., and Mary Forrest of London, ON. Also loved by her grandsons Jeffery and Christopher Bice and Matthew and his wife Shannon and Daniel Clarke. Great-grandmother of Melody Clarke. Dear sister-in-law of Gwen Robson of Glencoe, ON. Predeceased by her parents Jerry and Alice Robson, her brother Gerald Robson and her sister Dorothy Murray. A special thank you to the Cancer Clinic and Dr. Theodore Vandenberg and his team for their care and compassion. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 12 – 1 pm at the A.     Peacefully after a short illness, with family by her side at Prince George Retirement Residence, Lucan (recently of Blake Street, London) on Friday, January 27, 2017, Sheila Stevens passed away in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Bryan E. Stevens. Predeceased by her sister Daphne Randall. Survived by her brother-in-law Michael Randall in England. Loving aunt of 8, great-aunt of 15, great great-aunt of 5 and friend of every person or dog she met. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11 am at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, 1344 Commissioners Road West, London. Private interment in Woodland Cemetery.     Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 26, 2017 in Toronto. Born on November 14, 1939 in St. John’s Newfoundland. Beloved wife, for 45 years, of Ross Batson (2015). Loving mother to her daughter Jane and son-in-law Rob.  Cherished grandmother of twin granddaughters Emily and Sarah. Dearly missed by her siblings Patricia (friend Bob), Ellen (Jim), Catherine (Stan), Rick and Charlie. Predeceased by her mother and father Nellie and Dan Burke; sisters Joan, Maureen; brothers Danny, Martin, Paul, Basil. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.     Hay, Annie Beatrice “Jean” (nee Nairn)……
    Peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Victoria Hospital in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Donald Hay (1985). Loving mother of John (Julie) Hay and Diane (Bill) Coffin. Cherished grandmother to Ryan, Matthew and Charlie Hay, Phillip and Patrick Duby. Jean always maintained a positive and cheerful attitude despite living with multiple sclerosis for 52 years. She was a long-time member of Wesley-Knox United Church where she was leader of the junior choir and member of UCW for many years. She was a president of the Women’s Faculty Club at Western University and a member of the Canadian Club. Jean enjoyed travelling the world with her husband and family. Visitation will be held from 2-5pm on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, with memorial service on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11 am at Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street, London.     Peacefully with family by his side at Victoria Hospital, Dale Clark passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Penny. Proud father of Steve (Lynn Hrbek Clark) and Jennifer (Brian MacDonald). Grampa of Sam and Abbey Clark and Lexie and Nathan MacDonald. Brother of Beryl Burgess. Predeceased by his parents Ken (2002) and Jean Clark (1997), brother Wayne Clark (1996), brother-in-law Jack Burgess (1992) and his nephew Nathan Clark (1982). Missed by his sister-in-laws Magy and Lisa and brother-in-law Mike. Also his many nieces and nephews, the MacDonald family and the Hrbek family. Dale grew up in Dresden, Ontario and graduated in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1971. Dale then settled in Deep River, Ontario and worked for AECL for over 30 years. Dale had a passion for baseball and history. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 12 – 1 pm at the A.     Peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Westmount Gardens Nursing Home, Edith Wellwood passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Don Wellwood for 55 years. Dear mother of Scott Wellwood and his wife Barbara and Bernice Durdin and her husband Mark. Cherished grandma of Mathew, Brittany, Taylor and Lindsay. Predeceased by her sisters Hellen Small, Norma Lawrence, Edna Trafford and her brother Allan Lindsay. Edith will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Edith was a  long-time member of Elmwood Presbyterian Church. The family wishes to thank the staff of Apple Blossom wing at Westmount Gardens Nursing Home for their care and compassion.     Peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Son of Robert  Kennedy and the late Jessie Kennedy (2005). Survived by his brother Bruce Kennedy and his nephews Joe and Derek.  Sadly missed by his best friend and partner Rita Rumbold and many friends.  As per Jim’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Jim and the family would like to acknowledge the excellent care received from London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital staff on C7and in the London Regional Cancer Unit as well as the stem cell transplant team at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.     Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his three daughters,  Savanna, Adrianna, Cheyenne and their mother Darcy. Cherished Papa of Bailey, Cayden and Wyatt. Sadly missed by his sister Bonnie, nephew Cole, and his little sidekick Bambam. Reunited with his father Donald Ireland Sr. and his mother Lillian. A visitation will be held at A.
