    Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, Carman Grasby passed away in his 88th year. Beloved husband of June Grasby for over 65 years. Dear father of Al Grasby and his wife Elizabeth and Bill Grasby and his wife Cathy. Proud grandfather of Sarah and her partner Martin, Matthew and his partner Staci, Luke and his partner Jill, and Paul and his partner Hannah. Predeceased by his brother Ronald Grasby. A special thank you, to the staff at St. Marys Memorial Hospital and the staff at Kingsway Lodge Retirement Home. Keeping with Carman’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.     Surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at PeopleCare Oakcrossing, London, Frances M. (Ellis) Roberts of London in her 100th year, went to be with her Lord. Beloved wife of the late Don Roberts (1992). Cherished mother of Joyce Hawkins (Ken) of London, Marilyn Shrable (Frank) of Alabama, Barbara Krogman (Ron) of Wallaceburg and Eileen Banville (the late Walter) of London. Loved “Grandma Roberts” of Darryl, Brian, Carla, Melisa, Rebecca, Renee, Sherry, Dave, Joe, Jeff, Glen, and Tracy and great grandma of Alex, Nick, Kaylee, Ben, Michael, Jacob, Bison, Ben, Kate, Abby, Bryce, Josiah, Vivy, Kaleb, Taliah, Megan, Holly, Nate, Gibson, Brandon, Eryn, Kirstin, Sarah, Chris and great-great grandma of Skylah and Joshuah. Dear sister of Reitta Cox (the late George). Predeceased by her brothers Sterling and Murray. Frances was a teacher with the Lambton Board of Education, where she implemented the Speech Pathology Program. She always had a passion for encouraging young people to higher education. Frances and her family were deeply involved in ministry in the Salvation Army, and her love for music and for the Lord continued throughout her entire life. This love for the Lord has provided and will continue to provide spiritual direction to all her family. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Frances’ life will be held at a later date. Predeceased by her sister Bernice and infant brother Ronald.     MATHER, Eileen “Dean” Elizabeth …. Peacefully at home on Saturday, December 17, 2016, Dean passed away in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late A. T. “Guy” Mather (1997) and James W. Morley, Q.C. (1948). Dear mother of Jane Rodowa of London and John Mather and his wife Sharon of Strathroy. Proud grandmother of Lauren and Kurt Rodowa and Becky, Joshua and Emily Mather. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Dorothy Patrick, Harry Snell, Russell Snell, Mabel Skinner, Hazel Beaver, Charles Snell and Grace Farquhar and by her brother and sister-in-laws. Survived by sister-in-laws Olive Mather and Dorene Mather. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dean was a longtime member of the London Garden Club and the London “Live Y’ers”. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 12 – 1pm at the A.     Passed away suddenly at Victoria Hospital, London on December 15, 2016, Carol (Wolfe) Bauer  in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Fred Bauer for 51 years. Cherished mother of Lisa Martin and Dennis  Bauer (Andrea). Loving grandmother to Victoria, Emma-Leigh, Raven, Mikenna and Tye. Dear sister to Ida Kitt, and Charlene Albert. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Moses and Isabella Wolfe, her sister Verena and her brother Arnold. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (10-11am) to the service, on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the A.     We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Rod, at home, on December 15, 2016 at the age of 82. Rod leaves his wife Sheila, daughter Janice (Steve Mayne), son Peter (Rhonda Millikin) and grandson Marshall Mayne. He will also be missed by his in-laws Dave & Dianne Smith, his nieces and nephews Heather, Chris, Sheila, Lee, Cathy and Terry. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Beverly (Bill) Corbett and nephew Stuart Smith. Rod was born in Edmonton, raised in Victoria and eventually London became home.  He was a longstanding member of St. James Westminster Church. In his younger years he loved to travel with family & friends. The Counters and going to the races with Bruce were dear to his heart.  Memorial Service will be held at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London, ON, N6C1E7 on Monday December 19, 2016 at 1 pm.     Peacefully while surrounded by family at  Highview Residences on  Monday, December 12, 2016, Doris (Grover) Rylett at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Rylett (2009). Loving mother of Jane Rylett and her husband Jack Bend of London and Doug Rylett and his wife Catherine Tafler of Toronto. Proud grandma of Tom and Sally and step-grandma of Ryan and his wife Jennifer, Allison and her husband Andy and great-grandma to twins Ava and Jackson. Also missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters, Lucy, Jeanne, Ruth, Roberta, Josie and her brother Jack. The family will be forever grateful to the outstanding staff at Highview Residences in London for their tender care and loving support over the past nine years.
