    WILLIAMSON, David… After a short but very courageous battle and surrounded by the love of friends and family and his wife, Pat by his side at home on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in his 75th year. Dave is with our Father in heaven along with friends and family members who are waiting to welcome him with open arms. Incredibly loved husband and best friend of Pat and “the best dad ever” and sadly missed by his step-daughter Yvonne. Dearly beloved cousin Janice Ward and family in Manchester, England and best buddy of Brian Marriott and family in Brinsley (Nottingham), England. Dave was so proud of being a Mason and Shriner, especially playing a trumpet and Secretary of the (#1) Mocha Shriners Trumpet Band. He also volunteered at the Consistory Club and was also an invited guest member of the Tomato Soup Band. Thank you to the members of Centennial Lodge No. 684 A.F & A.M. (kudos to Mark Gordon), M.S.T.B. members and all our friends near and far for their visits, cards and phone calls of help and good wishes. Dave was bolstered by your support. And our special friends Jim and Edna, Ken and Marilyn and our caring neighbour, Theresa, who made life bearable before, during and after for both of us. Special thanks to our incredible medical home care team: Dr.’s Hamilton, Chong and Spack and R.N.’s Megan and Kevin who all made sure Dave was cared for with compassion and comfort. Cremation has taken place.     Peacefully with family, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at University Hospital, London, Eleanor Tuckey passed away in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Donald Tuckey for 62 years. Dear mother of Barbara Elliott (Robert), Kenneth Tuckey (Danielle) and David Tuckey (Lisa). Much loved Grandma of Christine and Matthew, Jonathan and Jacob, Clara, Olivia and Grace. Eleanor was a devoted member of Calvary United Church, London. She enjoyed many summers and sunsets with family and friends in Bayfield. Friends will be received for visiting on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will take place in the chapel on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 am.     At home on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017, Mary “Jo” (Humphreys) Fewster of London in her 94th year. “Ever Loving Room Mate” of the late Blake Fewster for 66 years (January 2017). Proud mother of Andrea Manias (Dale), Peter Fewster (Dianne), Pat Fewster (Al Gray) and Tim Fewster (Dianne). Loved Nana of Mark Manias, Laura Manias, Stephanie Manias, Rebecca Klein (Andrew), Greg Fewster, Brent Fewster (Heidi Wall), Chris Lengyell (Gita), Taylor Gray, Krystal Murphy (Troy) and Blake Fewster. Super Nana of Josephine and Violet Lengyell, Landan, Raena, and Paige Murphy. Aunt Jo to many nieces and nephews. The last of a remarkable group of sisters, Barb, Pat and Sally. Jo was a woman of great warmth, wisdom and class, who led a rich life full of family, the arts, healthy living and adventure. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jo’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London ON N6C 1E7, with The Venerable Nancy Adams officiating. Cremated remains will be scattered in St. James Westminster Anglican Church Memorial Garden.     Strupat, Ronald Francis….

    Died peacefully at WCW Parkwood Institute, London on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Born in Waverly, Nova Scotia on April 22, 1921. Predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Harrington) brothers George and John, sisters Helen and Anna. Survived by brother Donald, now in Sunnybrook in Toronto. Served with the Canadian Army Elgin Reg. from 1941 until the end of the war. He was attached to the British 8th Army, seeing action in North Africa, Italy and finally in liberating Holland. He was a proud member of the Canadian Legion, HMCS Prevost and Navy Reserve. Employed with Canada Post for 34 years as a letter carrier. Dad was a skilled carpenter. Cottages, additions, garages for family members were a commonplace. Happy memories of family trips to Nova Scotia, vacations at the Pinery and years of summers in Bayfield. Sadly, missed by sons Doug (Nancy), John (Leslie) and David. Gramps to Paul (Diane), Andrea, Christine and Nick. Great grampa to Bailey and Autumn. Nieces Susan, Lynda and Carol.     Chief Warrant Officer Christopher Paul St. Pierre (Ret’d)….

    Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the age of 72.  Beloved husband of Sheila St. Pierre. Loving father of Kim Nash(Steve) of Kingston and Dan St. Pierre of London. Dear Poppa of Brittany (Paul), Nicole (Adam), Sandra, Logan, Natasha and Emily. Also survived by his two sisters, three brothers, two sisters-in-laws, one brother-in-law and their families as well as a close cousin in British Columbia. He will be deeply missed by his four-legged furry companion, Brandy. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (12-1pm) on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the A.     COX, Alma….

    Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Saturday, June 10, 2017, in her 85th year, Alma went home to be with her heavenly Father. Beloved aunt, sister, cousin and friend to everyone her life touched. Predeceased by her father Murray, mother Priscilla and step-mother Grace. Best friend Barbara Hazelwood. Cherished aunt of Karen Guest (Al), Kirk Hazelwood (Sue), Dana Hazelwood (Jules), Sandra Timmermans (John), as well as her many nieces and nephews. Dearly missed by the Cox’s, McGuire’s, DeMerchant’s, Pelkey’s and McLeod’s. Alma graduated from The Victoria Public Hospital, School of Nursing in Fredericton NB in 1954 and graduated from Moosejaw Bible College in Moosejaw SK in 1959. Her career took her across Canada to where she finally settled in London, ON, where she worked at Parkwood Hospital for 30 years and retired as the Director of Central Supply in 1990. The family would like to thank the staff at Grand Wood Park Retirement Residence and University Hospital 7th floor Neurology for their care and compassion. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (10-11am) to the funeral service on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11am, at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London.     After a brief illness, on June 7th, 2017 Keith passed away peacefully in his sleep. Loving husband of Bernice M. (nee Smith). Cherished father of the late David (Ann Marie) and Gary (Lori). Best loved grandpa to Alika (Stephen), Kiela (Jared), Jason (Amanda), Ryan (Jessy), Nathan and Lynnette (Chris).  Caring great grandpa to Katrina.     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Archibald Armand Blois (Archie) of London in his 75th year at London Health Sciences on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017.  He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Archie was the devoted and loving husband to Marie for more than 50 years, wonderful father to Lucas and Jay of Toronto, Carly and Greg of Tavistock, and cherished “Pop-up” to his granddaughters, Avery and Reece. His greatest joy in life was his family. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Archie was predeceased by his mother Catherine Green, stepfather Sol Green, father Charles Blois, in addition to his sister and brothers. Archie will be sadly missed by his sister Dell, and all his nieces and nephews, his many good friends and others whose lives he touched. Archie loved his sports especially his golf and the Blue Jays. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul and his belief in fairness throughout his life. The family would like to thank our dear friend Cate for her loving support and friendship.
