    Ellen Elizabeth (Stanley) Chesney of London in her 68th year. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Saturday, February 23, 2002 . Dearly beloved companion wife for 26 years of Elliott Jephson and sister of Henry Stanley and his wife Isabel of Carleton Place, Herbert Stanley and his wife Emily of Loughrea, Ireland, Hannah Gilmour and her husband Mel of Ottawa, Lillian Mohr and her husband Sid of Almonte and 9 nephews and nieces. Beloved daughter of the late Herb and Lillian Stanley of Carleton Place. Also loved by many great-nephews and great-nieces. For many years she worked as a Registered Nurse and Pharmaceutical Representative. All her life she was a serious collector and researcher of Ontario Antiques and Collectibles. She will be sorely missed by her many friends. Friends will be received by the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the A. Loving grandfather to Brad, Tom and Emily Nesbitt, Susan Dolan (nee Hann) and her husband George, and Michael and Jim Bloxam and great-granddaughter Hailey Dolan. (Bill) Clode with whom she operated Clode’s Grocery on Adelaide Street for over 30 years. Loving mother of Sandie Clode and friend of Tom Newton. Sadly missed by sister Dorothy Dobbie and family. Predeceased by sister Irene and brothers Len and Cyril Cooper. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Sunday at the A.
