    NICOL — At the Dearness Home in London on Friday June 21, 2002, Mrs. Leslie (Straiton) Nicol of London, and formerly of Toronto, age 103 years. Beloved wife of the late James Waddell Nicol (1983). Dear mother of the late Ian S. Nicol (2001). Dear mother-in-law of Eileen Nicol of London, and also loved by her grandchildren Ian J. Nicol of London and Kevin Nicol of Hamilton. Survived also by several nieces and nephews. At Leslie’s request, there will be no funeral home visitation. Private cremation has taken place, and interment of cremated remains will be at Riverside Cemetery, Toronto, at a later date.     RICKARD —- The family of George Perry Rickard is saddened to announce his sudden death. George passed away peacefully at his home in London on Saturday June 15th 2002. Beloved husband of the late Marion I. (Hill) Rickard, deceased July 2001. Survived by his loving and proud daughter Jan Macaulay and her husband Peter; and their children John, Bryan, Suzanne and Eric, who will miss his frequent visits. George is also survived by Bill Rickard of Sarnia, Inez Hughes of St. Catharines, and Betty and Bruce Mackenzie of California. Mr. Rickard was a veteran of the R.C.N.V.R. and continued to enjoy the friendship of other navy veterans. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at the A.
