    PENTLAND: Benson Grant Pentland, in his 95th year, passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Friday, March 14th, 2003. Ben was born on the family farm near Dungannon, ON on May 15, 1908. Ben is a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was predeceased in 1994 by his first wife of fifty-five years, Rhena. Ben leaves to mourn, his second wife of seven years, Winifred Couchman of London; three children Alwin Pentland and his wife Barbara, and Margot Elliot and her husband Randy, all of Calgary, Alberta; Sandy Pentland and her partner Larry MacDonald of Edmonton, Alberta. Also cherished by his 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear brother of Wilfred Pentland and his wife Marjorie of Kincardine. Predeceased by his son Murray, his brothers LaVerne, Frank, Alan and Ronald and his sisters Claire Foster and Margaret Pritchard.
