BUTKUS — Peacefully at Chelsey Park Retirement Community, London, on Sunday July 27th 2003, Erna (Wendt) Butkus of London in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Zigmund Butkus (1980). Dear mother of Ingrid Baumgarten and her husband Karl of London, and Waltraut Frisa and her husband Joseph of Parkhill. Roy had just celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by his many relatives and friends. His wife of 39 years, Norma (Zimmerman) Weaver predeceased Roy in 1990. Nina Gertrude (Bridgette) Southcott passed away peacefully at McCormick Home, London on Tuesday, July 15, 2003. Nina is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Frederick Southcott and her three sons, Dr. Robert Southcott and his wife Judi of Union, Dr Peter Southcott and his wife Pat of Sarnia and Dr. David Southcott and his wife Dr. Elizabeth of Windsor. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, Tanya, Jeffrey, Sarah, Matthew, Megan, Ashley, Jordan, Laura, Emily, Daphne, Adam and Lily. Nina was a graduate of Victoria Hospital School of Nursing and University of Western Ontario Public Health. She loved art and took many courses in painting. She is also survived by her sister Pauline Cooper and her husband George of Wooster, Ohio and her sister-in-law Shirley Earley of California. She is predeceased by her brother Albert Bridgette and her sisters Roberta Fraser and Frieda Moxham. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the A.
