Archie worked for C. N. for 38 years, was a veteran of the R C N V R from 1942 – 1946 and saw convoy duty in the North Atlantic. He was a life member of St. John’s Lodge No. 20 A.F. & A.M., Lodge of Perfection, London Chapter Rose Croix and Moore Consistory of A. & A.S. Rite, having served as organist in those bodies for many years. He was Master of Daylight Lodge No.735 A.F. & A. M., London in 1998. He received his 33rd degree Scottish Rite in 1999. He was a member of Mocha Shrine A A O N M 5 and enjoyed participation in the Director’s Staff and London Shrine Club Units.
