Clifford Alfred Robinson
ROBINSON — Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, on Wednesday June 9th 2004, Clifford Alfred Robinson of London in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Eva (Frank) Robinson for 56 years. He will be sadly missed by his children; Laura (and Jon) Wilson, Mary, Kathryn, Bill (and Colleen), Peter (and Marilyn), Barbara, George (and Jennis), Dick (and Shirley), Marj, and Elaine Wilder. Dear brother of Betty Babister and Judi Wagenaar; and predeceased by his brother Ted and sisters Marguerite Wilkey and Irene Graham. He will be fondly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A private family service to celebrate Clifford’s life is to be held. Helen B. Lennox
LENNOX (nee Wemp) Helen B. Passed away surrounded by her family at the London Health Sciences Centre – University Campus on June 3, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband David Lennox (1977). Dear mother of Margaret Smith and her husband Michael of Toronto, Virginia Kelly of Toronto, Penny Mitchell and her husband Barrie Entwistle of Toronto, Christian Lennox and his wife Joan of London, and Heather Lennox of London. Dear sister fo Dorothy Bassett of Seaforth and the late Jack Wemp, sister-in-law of Helen Wemp. Loving grandmother of Jessica, Anne, Emily, Jill, Sarah, Katie, Luke, Samantha, Michael and Mason and grandson-in-law Ewan. Helen will be missed by her many friends and colleagues from Emco Limited, the IODE William Gartshore and Municipal Chapters, Aberdeen Public School and from her many years of curling. Helen was an amazing inspiration to everyone for her ability to overcome her many health challenges and enjoy her life and family. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at University Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, VIctoria Hospital and Parkwood Hospital, and especially to Dr. Manfred Harth for all their kindness and care over the past 28 years. Suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marjorie Pennie (nee Tennant), peaceful ly passed away at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth James Pennie (1993). Survived by her children John Pennie and his wife Marilyn Field, Mary Siddall and her husband David Siddal l , and Laura Kennedy-Rankin and her husband John Rankin. Also survived by her grandchildren Todd Pennie, Ryan and his wife Caroline Pennie, Selby and her husband David Copeland, Sanford Siddall , Kristie Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, Karolyn Kennedy and great-grandchildren Isabel, Ian, Abigail , Clara, Alec, and Bronte Marjorie. A special thanks to Dr. Brendan Dempsey for his special care and to the marvelous nursing staff on A6 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Private Cremation was held on June 2, 2004. A memorial service, with interment, will be held Thursday, June 24, at 3 p.m. at Westmount Presbyterian Church, 521 Village Green Avenue, London (472-3443). After a brief illness, while being surrounded by her family and knowing that Jesus was wai ting for her, Mom passed away on Monday evening, May 17, 2004. In Canada she is survived by her husband Wilt Blaak; children and spouses: Yvonne Jeavons and her husband Rob of Dorchester; Fred Blaak and his wife Karen of London; Monique Krickhan and her husband Martin of London; Ray Blaak and his wi fe Litsa Chatzivasileiou of Richmond B.C.; Erwin Blaak and his wife Shauna of Edmonton, Alberta and Rochelle Blaak of Vancouver B.C. She was the happy grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. Dear cousin of Wieger DeJong and his wife Coby of Stratfordville, Ont . In Holland she is survived by sisters Hillie, Nellie and Wil (in-law) DeJong, her brother Thijs DeJong and his wife Joan, and their children and grandchildren.
