EDWARDS…Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Thursday April 8th, 2004 E. Anne (Gilson) (Landrey) Edwards of London in her 66th year. Loving companion of Ray R. Britton and wife of the late Fred D. Edwards. Dear daguther of the late R. Oliver and Mary Gilson. Dearly loved mother of Tracy Pierson and her husband John of London, Lisa Landrey of Toronto, and William Landrey and Patty of Woodstock. Dear sister of Janet Durrell and her husband Walter of London, and so loved by her granddaughter Amanda Pierson. Dear aunt of Kim and Brad McIntyre, Cathie and Ron White, Mike and Barb Durrell, Bill and Sophie Durrell, and Sharon and Paul Wharton. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday at the A. Millard Geroge Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday April 13th at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Funeral service will be conducted at t. At his residence, Wednesday, April 7, 2004, Jack Kenneth Sandercott, in his 75th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (Fairweather) for 54 years. Loving father of Jackie (Dave) Hill, Lea (Walter) Gurtner and Karen (Ken) Alexander. Doting grandfather of Erika, Ryan, Klara, Lukas, Christina and Sabrina. Dear brother of Margaret (Ross) Jef feries and Barbara (Don) Carruthers. A very proud father, Jack worked long hours providing for his family. He retired as an engineer for Canadian Pacific Railway and fondly reminisced about the glory days of steam. In his retirement Jack handcrafted
miniature grandfather clocks made to hold the pocket watches of rail roaders. His garden was extraordinary, the beds of Iris spectacular! Ever resourceful he was a genius with smal l engines. He made the tiredest engine come to life and had a collection to prove i t! He looked forward to his hunting and fishing trips to Lowbush and eagerly shared the stories of his experiences there. Jack will be fondly remembered as a genuinely nice guy. He was a best friend, a good man. Cremation has taken place. At Jack’s request there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
