Norman John Smithson
SMITHSON — At Parkwood Hospital, London, on Saturday May 7th 2005, Norman John Smithson of London in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Katherine (Kalus) Smithson. Deeply loved by Linda, Don, and Kimberly Sullivan, and Rhonda Medeiros (Manny). Dear brother of Dorothy McCallum, William Smithson and his wife Phyllis all of London, and Gordon Smithson of Lethbridge, Alberta. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Norman retired from Beal Secondary School in 1986. He was fondly known as Mr. Bones” at Cherryhill Mall and Extendicare because of his love of music. Ken Bolley
BOLLEY — At Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday May 4th 2005, Ken Bolley of London in his 80th year. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Minnie Bolley, his sister Margaret Braun, his brothers Gordon, Mervin and Robert Bolley, and his long time companion Helen Hyndman. Dear father of Ken Bolley Jr. and his wife Kathy of Saskatchewan (and their children Danny and Kelley), and Martin Bolley and his wife Bernadette of Saskatchewan (and their children Alan, Marissa and Sean). Dear brother of June Coutts and her husband Cec of British Columbia, and Audrey Ferries and her husband Jack of Australia. Cremation has taken place, with interment of cremated remains in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at a later date. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Western Counties Wing, Parkwood Hospital , 801 Commissioners Road East, London (please use parking lot #3) on Monday May 9th at 11 A.M. with Reverend Darrell Shaule officiating. Charles Graham (Arl) Jarrett

Peacefully at his residence, after a brief illness, Charles G. Jarrett (Arl) of London on Monday, May 2nd, 2005 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ivy L. (Dean) Jarrett (2000). Dear father of Lorraine Bergsma (John), and Arlene Clarke all of London. Cherished grandfather (Bubba) of Dean Bergsma, Katie and Stephen Clarke all of London. Predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Jack Jarrett and his sister Jane Henshaw. Arl was a noble and compassionate person who dedicated himself to helping others. As a young man, he served with the RCAF and on the London Police Force. Over a span of 29 years, he built his career at Labatt Brewery where he became chief engineer. He was a life long member of the YMCA and volunteered there for several decades helping children with disabilities. He gave his love, loyalty and sense of humour to family and friends and will be remembered always. A private family service was conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home London, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Wednesday May 4th, 2005 with Reverend Brian McKay of the Church of St. Andrew Memorial, London officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. Dear sister of Stewart Brink and his wife Margaret of Dartmouth N.S., John Brink and his wife Helen of St. George, Jake Brink and his wife Helen of Ridgetown, Akke Seldenthuis and her husband Jake of Cambridge, and predeceased by her brother George Brink.
