At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, April 26th, 2006, Bill Lindsey of London in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Heather MacLeod. Dear father of Randy Lindsey and his wife Judy of Brampton, Pam Golab and her husband Jerry of London and Pat Lindsey and her husband Andrew Clark of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Brent Lindsey (1979). Loving grandfather of Kelly and her fiance Derek Richards, Megan, Brianne, Dave, Ben and Nick. Dear brother of John Lindsey and Janet Nickart both of Windsor. Predeceased by his sister Nora (1976). Bill had a zest for live and always saw the positive in all situations. He will be remembered for his humour and for his friendly smile. Bill believed in giving back to his community and volunteered at many charitable organizations. Bill will be missed by his family and numerous friends. Cremation. A memorial service will be held at St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London, on Saturday, May 13th, 2006 at 2:00 P.M., with Reverend Wendy Murray officiating. Interment of cremated remains in St. James Westminster Anglican Church, Memorial Garden. At Strathroy – Middlesex General Hospital on Friday April 14, 2006 Margaret (Leighton) Bright, beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Bright (1986), in her eighty fourth year. The daughter of William and Alice (White) Leighton, Margaret grew up in London West, attending Empress Public School and Central Collegiate and being actively involved in St. George’s Anglican Church. She entered the business world, working for Stevenson and Hunt Insurance and then for Bell Canada. Following her marriage, she joined her husband in building a successful series of firms in the hairdressing and beauty industries. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by her brother Jim Leighton (1986). She is survived by her nephews Douglas and Gordon Leighton and their families and her niece, Beverly Leighton. Her cheerful and engaging presence will also be missed by many friends and neighbours. Family will receive friends at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London on Monday April 17th from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop Cronyn Memorial Anglican Church, 442 William Street at Queen’s Avenue, London on Tuesday April 18th, 2006 AT 2pm, with the Reverend Canon Douglas Leighton officiating. Beloved husband of the late Ena Frances (Fraser) Price and the late Helen Margaret (Fraser) Price. Dear father of David Price of London; Dr. Nancy Price-Munn and her husband Dr. Barry Munn of Hamilton; Deborah Marshall and her husband Ronald of London and also beloved by Brett Collier of London and Joanne Stauttener of St. Thomas. Predeceased by his son Stuart Price and his brother Lawrence Price. Also loved by his grandchildren Brendan and Rhiannon Munn and Stuart and Tracy Marshall. Dr. Price served his country and community for over sixty years, as a member of the Medical Corps in W.W.II, as a private practitioner in dermatology, attending physician at the Veteran’s Hospital and teacher in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Wednesday, April 12th 2006 Mary-Anne (McKenzie) Cracknell of London in her 68th year. Loving wife of Reverend Lloyd G. Cracknell. Dear mother of Gregory Cracknell and his fiancee Sheilagh McDonald of Woodstock and Mary Cracknell of London. Special grandmother of Jamie-Lee Cracknell Bosenberry. Dear sister-in-law of Arthur and Lenore Cracknell of Thamesville, and Phyllis Cracknell of Sarnia. Also survived by Jamie-Lee’s father Brian Bosenberry, her brother Brent and her sister Stacey Bosenberry; her many nieces and nephews, a host of friends and colleagues. Predeceased by her brother Fraser McKenzie, a missionary who died in Africa in 1977. Mary-Anne was a kindergarten teacher for 26 years at Northdale, Byron Northview and Knollwood Park Public Schools. She was a friend to all, who loved life, devoting her talents to improving the quality of life for countless students, fellow teachers, church members and neighbours. Her baking skills will be remembered by many who received a pie or cookies at both happy and sad times. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday and Monday at the A.
