    On September 30, 2006 at the age of 74 after complications of heart disease.
    Survived by his wife Anne-Liis (Keskula), daughter Liisa (residing in Thailand), son Peter (residing in Vancouver), daughter-in-law Sharon and grandchildren Rachel and Sarah. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Annie (Murray). Retired professor of Journalism at The University of Western Ontario. Member of The London City Press Club and dedicated to its survival.     George Allan Ross of London, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2006 at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, in his 90th year. Devoted husband for 59 years of Ruth Ross. Cherished father of Ellen Denomy and her husband Michael. Loving grandfather of Brandon and Melissa. Allan was proud to have been a life member of the Old Comrades Association, 48th Highlanders of Canada. Mentioned in Dispatches for actions in Italy, he also served in Sicily and North West Europe. A great out-doorsman, some of his happiest hours were spent canoeing in Algonquin Park, Quebec and the Yukon. Predeceased by his brother John Andrew Ross of Ottawa and several highly esteemed brothers-in-arms. The care and attention displayed by the staff at Parkwood Hospital and the Medical Floor at Victoria Hospital have been greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the A. Millard George Funeral Home 60 Ridout Street South, London on Thursday October 5, 2006 at 1pm with Reverend Darrell Shaule, officiating. Gary will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Loving son-in-law of Marjory Matthews and the late Wray.     GALE —George Gale of London passed away on September 19, 2006 after a short battle with liver damage at the age of 69 . There was some dispute as to how to sum up his character and existence and this seems to do it. Somewhere George Gale heard a drum that no one else could hear and he was determined to march to it. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Moriarity) Gale. Dear father of Angus Gale and his wife Jennifer of Kitchener, and Sean Gale and his friend Michelle Henri of London. Dear brother of Bev Gale and his wife Barb of Tillsonburg, and Shirley Houghton (and her late husband Gord) of London. Also loved by his 2 grandsons Dustin and Curtis, and 2 granddaughters Riley and Frankie. Survived also by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ernest James Gale and Florence Annie McEwan. George worked much of his life for the Government, first for Ontario Highways, and then for Ontario Hydro, in the capacity as an appraiser. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 P.M. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday September 23rd at 1 P.M. with Reverend Janet Fredette of Richards Memorial United Church officiating.     In London on Monday September 18, 2006. Mary Helen Weatherston, in her 91st. year, wife of beloved husbands, the late Dr. J. K. Moss (1962) and of the late Hon. Justice F. S. Weatherston (1984). She was predeceased also by infant daughter Barbara Moss (1943) and son John Moss (1999). She is survived by her daughter Susan Elizabeth (Cindy) McLean and her husband John (Jake) as well as grandchildren Benjamin, Nisse, Gregor and Perrin Moss and Peter and John McLean. She is also survived by her sisters Elizabeth, Florence, Eleanor and Beverley and brother Robert. Mary was an accomplished artist and a member of the Canadian Society of painters in Water Colour. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Wednesday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Grove Cemetery, Dundas, Ontario.
