Peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side, on Friday, November 3rd, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer, Barbara (McDonald) McClinchey of London in her 71st year. Beloved wife of William Bill” McClinchey. Devoted mother of Derrick McClinchey and his wife Miriam of London; Debbie Giles and her husband Gord Ross of Lambeth; and Jeff McClinchey and his wife Jeanette of London. Peacefully at Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home on Friday, November 3rd, 2006, Madeleine Pringle (nee Clue) of London in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband, Clifford Pringle (1985) and six siblings. Dearly loved by her family: daughters Sharron Christie and her husband Dave of Mossley, and Karen Fisher of London; grandchildren Jay Christie and his wife Connie of Beachville, Shannyn Christie-Lyras and her husband J. F. Lyras of St. Philips, Newfoundland, Michelle Fisher and Kerry Fisher of London; great-grandchildren Alix and D. J. Christie and Reign Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday November 6th, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, at 1 p.m., with Reverend Janet Anstead officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. Madeleine and Cliff were well known for the many years they provided a loving and nurturing foster home for newborn infants prior to their adoption. Surrounded by his family after a courageous battle Mike McLean of London died peacefully on Monday, October 30th, 2006 at Parkwood Hospital in his 66th year. Beloved partner and soul mate for 35 years of Joan Mackintosh. Also loved by his three children and their families. A special thanks for the love, care and support of the V.O.N, Jean Woolner and his brother Kevin and his family who were there from the beginning to the end. Mike will be missed by all his special friends that came to visit him during his illness. As per Mike’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation.
