Surrounded by her grandchildren at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, after a long struggle with various illnesses, on Wednesday, November 29th, 2006, Ethel Maud (Foreman) Mitchell of Kitchener and formerly of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Les Mitchell (1989). Dear mother of Patricia Massier and her husband Brian of Kelowna, B.C. and William Mitchell and his wife Barbara of Toronto. Adored Granny to Todd Kerrigan (Michelle), Rob Kerrigan (Chantal Crow), Janna Chindamo (Jim) and Jason Mitchell. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren Ashley and Liam Kerrigan, Nicholas and Laura Chindamo, Evan, Meghan and Liam Spicer. Predeceased by her sister Dora and her brothers Albert, Jesse and Alfred. Ethel was the original proprietor of Les’ Variety in Wortley Village. She had a passion for 5 and 10 pin bowling right up until her 90th year. Ethel made an impact on people she met. She loved a party, having fun, and a good laugh. The family is grateful to Veronica Wolfe and the staff and residents of Trinity Village Care Centre for their continued support for the past four years. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the A.
