    Charles F. Miller of London in his 85th year on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Donna (Piper) Miller. Dear father of Norman and his wife Jackie of Petitcodiac, New Brunswick and John and his wife Sharon of Bowmanville. Also loved by his 4 grandchildren Charles, Christopher, Corey and Michelle, his 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Vivian Robertson of R. R. # 3, Lambeth and brother-in-law of Marion Miller of London. Predeceased by his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Charlie was a Past Master of Union Lodge No. 380 A.F. & A.M., G.R.C. 32 degree Scottish Rite, Royal Arch and Mocha Mosque Shrine Club of London and Past Grand Stewart. He was a 35 year London Transit Employee and served from 1940 to 1945 with the Royal Canadian Navy V.R. receiving 1939-45 Star, North Atlantic Star, Victory Medal – France-Germany Bar, Canadian Volunteer Medal – Overseas Bar and Russian Medal – Arctic Medal. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, March 10th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Peter J. Leonard of All Saints Anglican Church officiating. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester. Loving father of Paul, Markham, David (Kathy), Plano, Texas, Mark (Gabriella), Belleville and Julie, Savannah, Georgia. Cherished grandpa of seven grandchildren, Scott, Ken and Andrea, Colin and Shannon, Kevin and Natalie. Dear stepbrother of Robert (Evelyn) Hicks, Shelburne and the late Evelyn (Roy) Cornfield, Terrace Bay. Dear brother-in-law of Nancy and Ron Kraemer, Mitchell, and Betty Lou and Ivan Norris, Cromarty. Son of the late Eileen (Pridham) Bailie and the late David Bailie, and stepson of the late Alice Bailie. Dear grandson of the late Lillian and Alfred Pridham. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, colleagues, nieces, nephews and cousins, including those in Northern Ireland. Harvey spent 35 years in the teaching profession, 21 years of which were as an elementary public school principal in London, Ontario. Visitation will be held a the A. The funeral services will be conducted at Byron United Covenant Church, 420 Boler Road London on Friday, March 9 at 2:00pm with Reverend Arthur G. Hiley officiating.
