    Surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Parkwood Hospital, London, Elva Mary Eileen (Allen) Elliott of London in her 78th year. Devoted wife of the late Robert Donald “Don” Elliott of 58 years. Loving mother of Cindy (Elliott) Pavan and her husband Paul of Kitchener and Mark Elliott and his wife Suzanne Fratschko Elliott of London. Proud grandmother of Sarah and Becky Pavan and Alexandra Elliott. Dear sister of Bea, Jean, Vera, Elsie, Harry, Ernie, Cliff, Edsel, and Ken. Elva was a nurturing elementary school teacher whose caring and determined spirit touched everyone she met. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who took great pleasure in her granddaughters’ accomplishments, working in her garden and curling up to read a good book. Cremation has taken place.     Peacefully at Grandwood Park Retirement Residence, London, on Thursday, July 16, 2009, Elva May (McGregor) Elliott of London in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Elliott (1984). Loving mother of the late Joan (2007) Marshall (Jim) of London and Pat Fyvie (Jamie) of Toronto. Very muched loved grandmother of Doug Marshall (Martha), Joanne Bensted (Grahame), Jamie Marshall (Nicole) and Chris Fyvie and great Nana of Shayne, Cori, Hayley, Matthew, Rachel, Sam, Megan and Molly. Predeceased by her brother Morley. Special thanks to all family and friends for their caring visits with Elva during her lifetime and to the staff at Grand Wood Park for their support during the past three years. Much loved grandmother of Christine Long and Dean Gocan, Dan Long and Amy Lepage, Jordie Margison and Janalynne Rogers,Greg Margison (Jennifer Thorpe),Jesse Margison (Brandy Watters), Nikki Tomlinson (Charlie Bremner), Ryan and Jaime Tomlinson, Jamie and Laura Tomlinson, Sean Tomlinson and Katie Tomlinson (Stewart Day) and also survived by her great grandchildren Bo and Paige Gocan and Liam and Charlotte Tomlinson.     LINDSAY, Jeannette……Jeannette Lindsay in her 97th year passed peacefully at the Dearness Home, London, Ontario on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Morley Lindsay. Dear mother of Robert Lindsay and his wife Wanda of London, Diane Wieffering and her husband Bill of London and Judy Sykes and her husband Robert of Summerland, B.C. Predeceased by her brother Armand. Was loved and will be missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Proud father of Andy Greenlees of London and Susan Greenlees and her husband Mike Daniels of Smithers, B.C. Loved grandfather of Kaila and Richan. Dear brother of Alex Greenlees and the late Jean of Barrie. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Thomas served overseas in the Second World War in the Royal Canadian Artillery from 1940-1945, including the Normandy Landing. Cremation.
