Loving mother of Indrani Mahadeo Goddard and her husband Lainn, Tim Deleary and his partner Shannon and Melissa Deleary and her husband Wade Stilwell. Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Dakota, Jenna and Cameron, Ryely and soon to be Kale. Dear sister of John Pickles and his wife Margaret Watson. Also missed by her nephew Tom. Loving mother to Maureen Burbank of London. Cherished grandmother to Sarah Westlake and her husband Terry of London and Graydon Burbank and his wife Dani of London. Proud great-grandmother to Leah Westlake. Dear sister to Evelyn Smith-Peterson of St. Petersburg, Florida and her sister-in-law Elda Leeming. Predeceased by her sister Doris Patton and her husband Cam, Bernice Masters and her husband Tom and her brother Delbert Leeming. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. To have you as my mom was truly a gift. Your passing has left a hole in my heart. A lifetime of memories will always be there to ease the pain. Thank you for the life and love you gave me. We were different in so many ways yet you taught me to see the best in people and respect all living creatures. I also recognize the value a mother has in the lives of her children and the wisdom she offers. I am thankful for the love you bestowed on your grandchildren and their partners. I am thankful that you found such delight in your great granddaughter Leah and that you saw a glimpse in her eyes of things yet to come. Your achievements as a teacher and artist were significant and far reaching. Your love of music and your talents were appreciated by many. You were a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and loyal friend. I have enduring love and gratitude, Maureen. Dear father of Shirley Ann Lockhart and her husband Walter of London. Survived by his nieces Nancy Heron (Robert) and Barbara Bett (Michael) and nephew Glen Ross (Hilda). Predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Lorne Wilkinson. Charlie was born on November 2, 1911 in Westminister Township and lived there for over 30 years. Prior to moving to London, he lived in London Township for over 50 years. He was a former employee of London Print and Lithographing. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Barbara Heasman was Promoted to Glory on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. Born in Halifax on June 17, 1919 to Salvation Army Officer Missionary parents, Brigadier William & Ivy Bexton, Barbara spent her early years in China, along with her two sisters, Muriel and Eudora. Returning to Canada, David was born. (predeceased) (Jean). Barbara married Bob Foreman in Chatham, Ontario in 1943 and Heather was born in 1951. Bob was Promoted to Glory on New Years Day, 1959. On June 19, 1971 Barbara and Jim Heasman were married in London, Ontario and she was mother to Ron & Donna. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and favourite aunt, she always placed Jesus first in her life and was a living example of those strong beliefs to her family. Her husband, Jim, daughter, Heather Moyle, grandchildren, Benjamin Moyle (Misty), Nathan Moyle (Jessica), and Erinn Moyle (Rick Jones), great-grandchildren, Booth, Nathan, Ivy, and Pepper; extended family Donna Stanco (Tony), their children Paula, Michael, Andrew, and Dominic, and Ron Heasman (Catherine), and their sons, Matthew & Kyle; adopted son, Ben Dobson and family; sisters, Muriel Douville (Joe predeceased) and Eudora Watt (Frank), Wendy Casey and many other nieces and nephews, will miss her quiet ways, laughter, and sound advice. A Memorial Service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, 555 Springbank Drive in London, on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service starting at 9:00 a.m. Memorial donations can be made to ‘Jubilee Brass’ c/o 371 King Street, London N6B 1S4, The Salvation Army London Citadel, and National Service Dogs for Autism.
