Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 Peggy E. (Carter) Runciman in her 78th year. Dear mother of Elizabeth Runciman of Huron Park. Dear grandmother of Amanda Katherine Runciman of Sarnia and Hayden Runciman of Huron Park and great grandmother of Jocelyn Amanda Elnor. Dear sister-in-law of Gail Carter of Byron. Dear cousin of Margaret Jeffery of London and Jacqueline Kinder and her husband Dennis of London. Predeceased by her brother Larry Carter. Peggy was a member of the Lioness Club of Port Stanley and Past District President of A-1and a former Warden of St. John’s By-The-Lake Anglican Church in Grand Bend. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Anglican Church 1344 Commissioners Road West, London. MOHRING, Ethel Louise……Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Victoria Hospital, London, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late William Mohring (1991), the late Woodrow Bates (1988) and the late Maurice Needham (1978). Dear mother of Judy Erskine and her husband Jack, Bill Needham and his wife Dianne all of London and John Needham and his partner Sharon Voll of Listowel. Dear Nana of Sara Erskine and her partner Colin Hughes, Kari Erskine, Michelle Smith and her husband Daimen, John Needham, Kelli Dorman and her husband Bob, Brent Needham and his wife Bonnie and Bill Needham and his wife Aleena and also Great Nana to 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Percy Vanner and his wife Dorothy, Wilf Vanner all of London and Arnold Vanner and his wife Donna of Windsor. Predeceased by her brother Carl Vanner and her sister Mary Addley. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. She volunteered at McCormick Home with the Alzheimer Outreach Program for several years. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, London. Peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, Ted Kostecki of London in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Shelley Kostecki. Cherished father of Lisa Kostecki and her partner Andrew Wylie both of Vancouver. Uncle of Jill Mackereth and Brian Olszewski of Toronto. Predeceased by his sister Diana Mackereth and parents Mikael and Katerina Kostecki. Grateful thanks for the compassionate care of the Peritoneal Dialysis Unit at Victoria Hospital, CCAC, ComCare nurses, Hospice of London and St. Elizabeth Home Care. Ted was a loving husband, proud father and loyal friend who could always be counted on for support and encouragement. Ted lived life to the fullest and willingly contributed his wealth of knowledge and experience with kindness and wit. In his 30 years as a journalist, radio and TV reporter, television editor and producer, he was always respected for his integrity and expertise. As the First St. Andrew’s United Church Community Outreach Co-ordinator and Fund Raiser he fulfilled his role with quiet efficiency and dedication. Ted was past chair of London/Middlesex Presbytery. He was an active member of the National United Church General Council and was voted onto the National United Church Executive Council. He was a member of the Advisory Board to Studies in Family Medicine. Friends will be received by the family from 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the A. Beloved wife of Gary Dilamarter. Dear mother of Craig (Ange), Sean and Kate Dilamarter. Proud grandmother of Rebekah, Ella, Sydney and a little one on the way. Dear sister of John Fitzgerald (Marie), Nancy Quayle (Paul), Rob Fitzgerald (Lynn), Kimberley Skinner (Sydney) and Carol Gibbs (David). Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Victoria Hospital, London, with his family by his side. Husband of Audrey (Little) Smith. Loving father and grandfather of Dan (Brittany, Jacqueline and Taylor), Lynne Hevey (Jeremy and Ryan), Wendy and Jim Kipp (Jessica, Addison and Cassandra) and Mike and Sue (Patricia, Danielle and the late Sarah) Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Edith Smith and his brothers and sisters, Jean, Harold, Blanche, Ralph, Ruth and Marie. Also loved by his friend Anna McCoskery. Lloyd will be remembered mostly for starting and running a wholesale fruit and produce business called L & H. Smith Fruit Co. Ltd. in London for many years and his love for watching his son Dan’s race horses. Special thank you to dad’s nurses, Sandy and Teresa for their wonderful support these past few years.
