SHUTTLEWORTH, Helen…..Peacefully at Dearness Home, London on Saturday, January 15, 2011, Helen Shuttleworth in her 91st year. Loving sister of Blanche Foster and her husband Harold of St. Thomas and Len Shuttleworth and his wife Verlyn of Chatham. Predeceased by her brother Clifford Shuttleworth and her sisters Lois and Ruth Shuttleworth. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and her Dearness Home family. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Peacefully at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound, Ontario. Born January 22, 1922 in Owen Sound but resided in London, Ontario for the last 60 years. He will be greatly missed by his two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kuehnbaum of Burlington and Mary Henderson of London, and also all his nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Elaine (nee Daum), brother John (Jack), and sisters Frances Gow, Marion Pigeon, Patricia Brown, and Marjorie Bowering. Leo Served overseas in the RCAF (1942-1945) in England, India, North Africa and with RAAF in Italy and Gibraltar. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior (12:00 – 1:00 pm) to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, January 18th at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. WREN, Lily…..Peacefully, at the Village of Glendale Crossing, on Thursday, December 30, 2010, Lily Wren was reunited with her late husband of 52 years Frank (1995), and son Gordon (1958). She will be greatly missed by her children Gail and Grant and loving grand-daughter Lauren. Lily was a very special “Mum” to Muriel Walsh and “Gramma” to Robert Walsh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her companion cat Natasha. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of Westmount Optometrists for their ongoing care of Mom’s eye disease, and some special staff at the Village of Glendale Crossing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South. A private family service will be held on Thursday at Wesley-Knox United Church with interment at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
