    Peacefully at Glendale Crossing on Sunday, June 26, 2011, John “Jake” Norwood in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Flo (Brocklebank) Norwood (2005). Loving father of Jacquie Messenger (Alf) of London, Maureen Bird (Gerry) of Oakville, Judi Gelowitz (Gerry) of Kamloops, B.C. and Chris Dunne of Langley, B.C.. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Mae Norwood of Windsor. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Herbert, Robert, and his sister Olive. The family wishes to thank the staff at Glendale Crossing for their incredible care and support. Cremation has taken place. Dear wife of the late John Ryan and sister of the late Veronica (Wedie) O’Connor and Molly Williams of Collingwood. Loving mother of Betty-Ann (Tom) Cox, Michael (Louise) Ryan, Mary (David) Camozzi and Patricia (Bruce) Kennedy. Cherished Granny to Sean (Andreana) Cox, Shannon (Dan) Johnson, Conor (Alicia) Cox, Karlene and Anthony Ryan, Brian and Laura Camozzi, Ryan (Michelle) Kennedy and Dan and Jamielynn Kennedy. Loved Great Granny of Nellie Juliana and Chloe Cox and Declan Johnson, Justine and Layla Kennedy and Maddox Kennedy. A Funeral Mass of Thanksgiving for our dear mother’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Rd. West, London followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:30 am at the church.     GOODALL, Doris Kathleen…..Peacefully at Chelsey Park Long Term Care, formerly of 190 Cherryhill Circle, London on Friday, June 24, 2011, Doris Kathleen (Bringes) Goodall in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Stafford Goodall. Sadly missed by her niece Judith Sutherland and her husband Doug and their children Cale and Beckie of London. A special thanks to the staff at Chelsey Park Long Term Care for the care and compassion given to Doris during her stay. Cremation has taken place.     BARRIE – Patricia Joy (Wright). May 16, 1926 – June 24, 2011 passed away Friday, June 24th, 2011 at McGarrell Place, London, Ontario at the age of 85 years. Pat was raised in Parkdale area of Ottawa and later moved to southwest London in 1958 with her young family. She was very involved in the United Church Women’s Organization (UCW) of Wesley-Knox United Church. She enjoyed her work at Mitchell, Hockin and Dawson and later Harrsion Elwood Law Offices, which she retired from in 1991. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth William Barrie. Dear mother of Bruce (Eneta) of Calgary, Alberta and Dale (Deborah) Barrie of St. Albert, Alberta. Also loved by her grandchildren George, Daniel, Julie, Sarah and James. Dear sister-in-law of John (Nancy) Barrie and Laurie (John) Chevalier all of Peterborough, Ontario; and survived by ten nieces and nephews. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at A. Loving father of Paul Field (Pattie), Ruth Whatmough (Graham), Maryhelen Buchanan (Tim), Naomi Pye (Albert), Martha Brown (Dan), Miriam Davidson (Norman) and Annajane Doak (Brian). Cherished grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Paul Dennis, Steve and Dave. Predeceased by his brothers George, Gerald, Don, and Doug and his granddaughter Susanna. Ed served in the Navy in WWII, he worked for Silverwoods Dairy for 35 years and drove a school bus for Delaware Central.     Mercifully, God’s mysterious veil of peace has descended upon our mother, and released her from a frail and worn body. On Friday, June 17, in her 96th year, Evelyn May Suchard (nee Scarborough), departed this life leaving a strong legacy of faith, love and devotion. In the universal scheme of time, Evie’s long life is merely a flicker … yet is marked by steadfast loyalty to her beloved family, friends, and her life-long service to her church community. Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Dalton; brother Leonard; brother Bob and his wife Marjorie; sister Margaret and her husband Hugh Mathieson; and daughter- in-law Mary. Evie leaves behind her devoted and loving son Gary; son Carl and wife Nancy; daughter Connie and husband Gene Murphy; her dear cousin and loyal friend Elsie Cole; and the joy of her life – grandchildren Kelly Richards, Graham Suchard and Julie Ridgewell, Kimberley and husband Fred Dennis; six wonderful great grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Daniel, Kyle, MacKenzie and Cameron; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
