At Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, September 22, 2012 Ann Kathleen (Wilkins) Pelesh in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Jovan “Joe” Pelesh for 52 years and the late Gary Rodger. Dear mother of Jovanna Belair and her husband Daniel of Palmerston, Tim Rodger of London and Mark Pelesh and his wife Jennifer Nicol of North Vancouver. Also loved by her grandchildren Amy, Meghan and Andrea Belair and Nicolas Pelesh and her great-grandson Franceis Belair-Cuyler and her Rodger, Stover, Pelesh and Wilkins nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Peter Pelesh and Doreen Hazelden, Russ and Sandy Pelesh, Marg and Herb Stover, Dave and Bonnie Rodger and Jim and Janet Rodger. Predeceased by her step-brother David Wilkins. Cherished sister of Joe and predeceased by her sister Antoinette Beer and her brother Frank. Dear sister-in-law of George, Joyce Mould and predeceased by Jean Robinson, Allan and Roy. LOWERY, Maj. (Ret.) Jack Howard…At Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 Jack H. Lowery in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Virginia L. (Fegan) Lowery for 57 years. Dear father of Kelly Lowery-Treffry (George) of Kitchener and Shannon Karn (Jack) of London, Linda Lowery Hansen of Naples, Florida and step father of Mary Lou Hyde (Jim) of Exeter and Wilma West (George) of Surry B.C. Loved grandfather of Scot Davidson, Sean Stroud (Angie), Siobhan McCarthy and Tyler Warmbold (April) and step grandfather of Jacqueline Wein (Paul) and great grandfather of 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Also survived by 3 nephews and a grand puppy Dakota. Predeceased by his brother Clifford Lowery and step granddaughter Lisa Sutherland. Jack had two careers a long and honored Canadian Military Service Career. He entered the R.C.A.F. in 1941 until 1945 and re-enlisted in1950 retiring as a Major in 1970. Jack holds in honor the following orders, decorations Medals- Citations: the Canadian Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-45, Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Medal – 1953 and Canadian Forces Decoration. Following his retirement from the Canadian Military, Jacks second career for 14 years was with Gulf Canada retiring in 1984. The Lowery family would like to express our sincere appreciation and very sincere heartfelt thank you to the emergency staff and doctors and the kind and caring nurses and doctors in the ICU at Victoria Hospital, London. A very special and sincere thank you to Linda Campbell from Ginny, Kelly and Shannon. A memorial celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the A. Millard George Reception Facility, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday September 21, 2012 from 5-7 pm. Cremation with inurnment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Loving mother of Mrs. Sharon Fordyce and her husband Bruce of Australia, Miss Laura Bowlby and Ms. Joan Fleming(Rick Smith) of London. Dear sister of Mrs. Gladys Grier and her late husband Robin. Also loved by her grandchildren, Cameron and Melea of Australia, Shane, Nikki, Carly and Michael of London, her 2 great-grandchildren, Jaden and Mason and her good friend Joan Schleuter. Predeceased by her brothers Albert and Clifford and by her sisters Eva and Ruth. She was born in Arthur, ON and met Eugene when she attended Westervelt College in London. She worked as a bank teller. Her passion was lawn bowling and she proudly represented Canada in the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 1982. After a hard fought battle, and complications from C-Difficile, Ivan Rollins passed away on September 12, 2012 at Victoria Hospital London in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Maisie Rollins. Dear father of Bonnie Rollins and her partner Paul Herman, Brenda Kazimer and her partner Ken Joseph. Loved grandfather of Tyler, Scott, Nolan and Brock. Dear brother of Fay McCann, Donna Brown and Glenn Rollins. Also missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Connor, his brother Rayburn and his sisters Jean and Velma. Ivan worked for London Hydro, was a member of the Duchess of Kent Legion, the Moose Lodge, and the Wellington Sportsman Club and had a passion for hunting. Peacefully at Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home, Delaware on Saturday, September 8, 2012 Catherine M. (Mann) Deane in her 91st year. Cherished and devoted mother of Bill Deane (Lynn), Nancy Campbell (Don) and Barb Teeple (Grant) all of Aylmer, Sue Morgan (Tom) of London, Judy Deane of Caledon and daughter-in-law Lucie Sirois of Sudbury. Loved grandmother of Ryan (Lara), Brett, Darcy (Brad), Kayla, Adam (Sandy), Matt (Tam), Morgan (Nikki), Bryan (Laura), Curt (Ashley) and Taylor and great grandmother of Kayden, Nicholas, Aubrey, Brady and Austyn. Dear sister of Norma Blackwell of St. Thomas and sister-in-law of Gladys Deane of Port Stanley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving son Ken Deane (2006), brother William Mann, sister Helen Hudson, brother-in-laws Max Hudson, Chuck Blackwell and Bill Deane. Cathy, Kay or as she was affectionately known, the “Warden” worked for a number of years at Simpsons and later the Bay. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking as well as a challenging game of euchre and spent over 50 years in the summer and fall enjoying family and friends at her trailer in Port Bruce. Along with keeping her children and grandchildren warm with her hand knit hats and mittens, she donated many of the same to the NICU and Victoria Public School. Catherine’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Middlesex Terrace for the wonderful care that they provided to Mom over the last 18 months. (King) Macleod (1985). Loving sister-in-law of Isabel Macleod of Florida. Predeceased by her brothers Sandy (1982), Ian (2012) and her sister Kathryn McCracken (1997). Loving aunt to four nephews. Ann worked at Silverwood’s for 47 years as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician. Visitation will be held at the A.
