    At her residence on December 19, 2013, as a result of an accident. Velta Baumanis, 71 of Mount Brydges. Daughter of the late Arturs and Julia Baumanis. Velta was a talented architect and lover of nature and gardening. She took great pride in preserving and promoting her Latvian heritage. Dedicated member of the Strathroy Rotary Club for 19 years. She will be deeply missed by her extended family in the United States and Latvia, her neighbours and friends in the equine community and her constant travel companion Zorrah. Dear father of Barry Wilson (Lise McAuley) of Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Dian Wilson of London and Karen Wilson (George McCluskey) of London, Proud grandfather of Jessica, Matthew, Liam, Dylan and Riley and great-grandfather of Marianne. Dear brother of Shirley Foote of Dartmouth, NS. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Ralph Foote. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Warren attended Sydney Academy and graduated from Mount Allison University. He retired from John Labatt Ltd and was a long standing member at St. Anne’s Anglican Church (Byron).Cremation has taken place. Dear father of Julie Manuel (Sean) of London and Lynn Dray (Greg) of St. Thomas. Proud grandfather of Ashley (Devin) Morrison, Chelsea Manuel, Eric Manuel, Anna Manuel and Sarah Manuel. Cherished great-grandfather to Savanna Morrison and Bradley Morrison. Dear brother to Ernest (Jean) Morrison of Northern Ireland and his sister Ethel (George) Lowry of Ireland. Proud grandma of Cheryl Ford, Susan Bauman and her great-grandma of Amanda, Jacob, Julia and Airianna. Dear sister-in-law of Deborah Stevenson. Fondly remembered by her niece and nephews.     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Walter Scott at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Allan is survived by his faithful and loving wife Linda (Ullmann) Scott and his former wife Mae (Sypher) Scott. Loving father of Sheldon Scott, James Scott, and Krista Quantrill. Cherished grandfather of Kyana, Arianna, Nevaya and Beulah-Jaden. Dear brother of Anne (Scott) McNeill (Laurel), Gladys (Scott) McKay (Derrick) and brother-in-law of Jeanette Scott. Also missed by his several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Melbourne and Annie (Golden) Scott and brothers John, William and his nephew Kenny. Allan grew up in Scotchtown, NB before moving to London, ON, in 1964. He loved working in his flower garden and on his home; he was meticulous about everything he did, always striving for perfection.
